In one of my earlier post i had qalms as to why birbal is not being shown. Here are the reasons i found after a little bit of research :
1. Akhbar had nine gems in his court called navratanas who were his favourite and people par excellence in various field. They were Birbal, Raja Todar Mal, Tansen, Abul Fazal, abdul raheem khan-e-khana (salima's child raheem), Faizi , Mulla-do-pyaza , raja Man Singh (jodha's nephew) and fakir Aziao-din.
2. so Akhbar has to be beyond 40s , raheem grows up and then they can officially show birbal..And a good news for JA fans even after showing Jodha-Akhbar's reconcilation ,MA and Adham khans death track there are plenty n plenty of tracks left n unlike other Ekta kapoor shows storyline wont drag. Plus history says jodha and ruqaiya were at friendly terms throughout their lives . it was ruqaiya who brought Jodha's son closer to jalal after a misunderstanding.
