Okay this is my first OS on this forum. I have my exams soon but I had to post this. It so happens that for last few months I had a writer's block and this story actually helped me get over it. So since this is right after a writer's block it's not all that great. I mean I found it way crappier from the way I had imagined it. It's too long but please if you start reading it finish it too.😆

1. The character Shafqat Khan is purely made by me. it is fictional.

2. I did read in many places that akbar banned forcible sati so I used it in one of ja-jo convo. I don't know how far it is accurate though.

3. The below banner is made by me but the original photos are not mine. I took them from Google. If they do belong to someone then please tell me so, so that I can give them the due credit.

4. I have not proof read this so ignore any mistakes please.

5. Now enjoy akdhians...<3

The blood was splattered everywhere. Bodies covered acres and acres of land. No one cared. Men stamped on the bodies as they either defended or attacked. More blood flowed. The heat scorched the land. Half dead looked up at skies in thirst but no one paid heed. All were busy in slashing more bodies. After all it was the battlefield.

Agra fort: Rukaiya's chamber

"hoshiyar, shehensha ki koi khabar?" [any news of the king?]

Rukaiya asked haughtily as she looked at her reflection in the mirror. When she got no reply she looked up and saw hoshiyar's image as he hesitantly answered.

"maaf kijiye mallika par abhi bhi koi pegam nahi aaya hai. Par fateh shehensha ki hi hui hogi." [ sorry but still no message has come. But the king must have surely won.]

Rukaiya smirked and said, "yeh toh hum bhi jante hai. Jalal ko koi shikast de hi nahi sakta. Humhe toh yeh baat pareshan kar rahi hai ki unhe lotne mein itni der kyun ho rahi hai." [even I know that. no one can defeat Jalal. I am worried about the fact that it is taking so long for him to return.]

Her brows creased together as she looked at herself in the mirror. She was sure Jalal would be fine but this delay was somehow getting under her skin.

Agra fort: Jodha's chamber

Moti walked in and saw Jodha in front of her kanha. It had been hours since she had left her there. Jodha never left her kanha. She would even sleep there on the floor.

A tear slipped down Moti's eyes as she saw Jodha praying with her eyes closed. If only shehensha would come back then her friend would be at peace. It had been 2 months since he had left. Moti closed her eyes and prayed to kanha to give Jodha her husband back.

Battlefield:

An arrow missed Jalal's eye by an inch as he bent back sideways. He looked up and saw three more men run towards him. He was surrounded. But he saw one of them get distracted and took the opportunity to attack him and swiftly took down the other two. As he pulled his sword back he looked up. He could see his men tiring. He had come here to squash the rebellion but it had been a war for days and finally his men were losing their moral.

Their opponents were almost defeated but the damages to his side were great too. He was himself heavily wounded but he could not rest now. He had to lead from front. He could not let his people who were fighting for him down. He got up and again resumed fighting. The man he had just stabbed slowly crawled forward and unsheathed a dagger. But before he could reach Jalal, Jalal had already spotted another man and ran towards him.

The man punched the ground in frustration. He only wanted one chance. One chance to attack this man and he would be done.

Somewhere:

Shariffudin paced around in his tent. He couldn't understand why this was taking so long. All that man had to do was stab Jalal with the poisoned dagger. It was a battlefield and by now thousands of opportunities must have presented themselves so why had he not got the good news yet?

Shariffudin threw the glass in his hand on the floor as the contents spilled on the floor. Shariffudin looked at the red liquid as it seeped into the ground wishing it was Jalal's blood.

Agra fort: Jodha's chamber

Jodha felt heavy. She opened her eyes and found herself on the floor. She tried to get up. Her muscles ached as she finally sat up. She looked out the window. Her heart sank. It was almost sunset time and he still had not returned. She looked pleadingly at her kanha. If only she knew that he was safe...

Battlefield:

He was not safe.

"Zindabad!"

As everyone rejoiced in the long fought victory Jalal took of his head armour. He shook his head to clear the sweat.

Shafqat smiled as the remaining unwounded soldiers hailed the king. He instructed them to help the wounded back to the tents and turned around to take further instructions from shehensha and froze. He had just turned in time to see a half dead man attack Jalal from behind and Jalal block it with his left hand and pierce the sword in his right hand into the man. The man fell dead at jala's feet. Jalal looked at his left hand. His palm was bleeding but more than that it was burning. Like he had just caught fire. Shafqat and some more soldiers ran to Jalal to make sure he was okay. Shafqat immediately checked if the man down was dead for any possible threats.

He turned around and asked, "shehensha aap khairiyat toh hai?" [are you okay?]

Jalal gave a curt nod and said, "hum thik hai. Mamuli sa zakhma hai. Abhi jald se jald sab zakhmi sipahiyon ko wapas kheme me le chalete hai." [I am fine. It's a small wound. We have to now return back to the tents with all the wounded soldiers.]

Jalal looked down and saw the red thread on his wrist that had come lose.

Jalal saw his men get back to helping their wounded comrades and started walking towards them after giving one last look at his wounded hand.

Agra fort:

"Kanha!"

Jodha gave out a small and quiet tormented scream.

Moti bai ran in to her,

"kya hua Jodha?" [what happened?]

"Moti...Moti mujhe ek bhayankar aabhas hua. Shehensha...shehensha kisi musibat mein hai Moti." [I am having a bad feeling. Shehensha is in some danger.]

"Jodha, Jodha shant ho jao. Kuch nahi hua hai. Bas tumhara dar aur chinta tumhe sata rahi hai." [Jodha calm down. nothing has happened. Your fear and worry is troubling your.]

"mera ji vichalit ho raha hai Moti." [I am feeling disturbed.]

"thik hai Jodha. Hum par nahi toh apne kanha par toh vishwas hai na tumhe. Tumhare kanha shehensha ko kuch nahi hone denge." [ok. Not in me; but at least you have faith in your kanha. He will not let anything happen to shehensha.]

"toh wo wapas kyun nahi aa rahe? Aur na hi unki koi khabar aayi hai? Main karu toh kya karu Moti?" [then why is he not coming back? And why is there no news about him? What should I do?]

Jodha hugged Moti and started crying. It had been two months since he had left. Two months since she had made her kanha's mandir her home.

Campsite:

Jalal walked in his tent after ordering everyone to be prepared in two hours to leave. This battle had taken way longer than it should have.

As he took off his armour he felt the burning sensation spreading. The hakim was to come to check on him again. His wounds had been dressed.

He looked at the red holy thread in his hand. It had been his lifeline to hold on to. He had every night after his grievous battles looked at it to find relief and calmness. When he noticed it while fighting It gave him reason to not throw his life away. He wanted to return home to the one who had given it to him, knowing she would be waiting for him. "home"- how pleasant it felt. She had made him feel at home. She was home.

Suddenly his vision blurred. His head felt heavy. Something felt wrong. He tried to walk to the bed but staggered and fell, crashing into the side table. The table overturned, throwing the jug down and causing a huge sound.

Shafqat entered Jalal's tent and was shocked to find him unconscious on the ground.

0--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------0

Shafqat stood outside the tent waiting for the hakim to finish his examination and come out.

As soon as the hakim came out Shafqat asked him of shehensha's health.

Hakim said gravely, "humse galti ho gayi. Humne unhe jajte waqt yeh mehsoos nahi kiya ki unpar kisi zeher se hamla kiya tha." [I made a mistake. While checking him I did not realise that he had been attacked with poison.]

Shafqat looked at him horrified by the news.

"humne unhe davaiya di hai lekin hum nahi jante ki unke andar kaunsa zeher hai. Aur isliye...ab sab uss allah ke hath mein hain." [ I have given him medicines but I don't know what poison is in him. Now everything is in god's hands.]

Shafqat understood the hint and this knowledge numbed him. His body froze. If this was the case then Mughal sultanate was in huge danger. He just stood there comprehending what he should do next.

0------------------------------------------------------------------------0

"gustaki maaf ho. Par yeh kaisa pegam hai?" [sorry to be impolite but what kind of message is this?]

Shafqat sighed and looked out. "hum wahi keh rahe hai jo hakim saab nahi keh sake. Badshah ke salamat hone ki ab koi umeed nahi dhikayi de rahi hai." [I am saying what the doctor could not. There is no chance of king's survival.]

"yeh pegam agra pohcha diya jaye." [send this message to agra.]

The soldier bowed and walked out.

0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

"Shehensha"

"Jodha"

"hum aapse krodhit hai."[I am angry with you.]

"kyun?"[why?]

"aapne humhe vachan diya tha ki aap humhare paas lautenge."[you promised me that you would come back.]

"ha toh hum aa rahe hai na."[I am coming ]

"nahi aap nahi aa rahe."[no you are not]

"Jodha..."

"aap humhe chod kar jana chahte hai."[you are leaving me and going]

"nahi Jodha...Jodha...JODHA!!!"[no Jodha]

But Jodha was gone. All he could see was the mist. He ran after her but she was not there. And suddenly he saw her. In the middle of fire. Burning, he felt like he was burning. HE WAS BURNING!!

0---------------------------------------------------------------------0

"shehensha ka badan tap raha hai. Iska matlab unke andar ka zeher jal raha hai. Shehensha bach jayenge."[his body is hot. The poison in his body is being burned off. He will survive.]

Shafqat thanked the lord and made a quick prayer. Just then Jalal stirred and slowly opened his eyes.

"shehensha! Khuda ki garimat hai ki aap ko hosh aa gaya."[its god's grace that you have woken up.]

Jalal's said in a croaked voice, "humhe pyaas lagi..."[I am thirsty...]

Before he could say anything he was fed water by Shafqat. Shafqat looked at the hakim and hakim smiled. The hakim himself was astonished by this miracle. The man he had given up hopes on had just woken up.

0--------------------------------------------------------------------------0

"shehensha, agar kal tak aap ki halat mein sudhar hua toh humhe kal hi nikalna chahiye." Said Shafqat with a serious voice.

"zaroor. Waise bhi behad waqt barbad ho chukka hai. Aur dino tak agra se door rehna sahi nahi hoga."[sure, anyways a lot of time has been wasted. We should not stay away from agra any longer.]

"humhari salamati ka pegam agra bhej do." [send the news of my wellbeing to agra.]

Suddenly Shafqat looked up. He had totally forgotten about his message sent to agra. Hadn't he told that their king would not survive.

Shafqat looked at Jalal and said, "humse bohot badi gustaki ho gayi hai shehensha. Jab aaj subah bhi aapki tabyat mein koi sudhar nahi ho rahi thi aur hakim saab ne umeed chod di thi tab Humne agra ye pegam bhej diya ki aap is duniya mein zyada waqt nahi rahenge." [I have made a mistake. When we thought you wouldn't survive I sent a letter to agra saying you would die soon.]

Jalal first took a few seconds to register what Shafqat had just said. And the he exploded.

"aapne kya??? Aap jante bhi hai ki kitni badi musibat ho jayegi agra mein. Yah allah! Humhari saari begume zehar khane par utar ayengi. Aap itni badi galti kaise kar sakte hai Shafqat?" [what have you done. All my begums must have agreed to drink poison by now.]

Jalal quickly tried to get up. Shafqat tried to help him but Jalal pushed him away. All the women in his harem would kill themselves. And Jodha. His dear Jodha. Didn't she say once about burning herself.

Jalal had a flashback of burning Jodha. His nightmare would come true.

"humhare jaane ki tayari ki jaye. Abhi!" shouted Jalal.

Shafqat tried to make him see reason, "par shehensha aap safar karne ki halat mein nahi hai. Aap..."

"humhe yeh safar karna hi hoga."

"lekin hum kisi ghud savar ko bhej kar ek aur pegam..."[we can send another letter.]

"kya faida? Humhe bhi utna hi waqt lagega. Aur waise bhi hum wahan unke samne hoge to vo humari baat manenge."[it will take same amount of time for us to reach. if I am infron of them then they will believe us.]

Agra fort: harem

It was total chaos. Hamida banu had taken ill as soon as she heard that Jalal was no more alive.

the pegam had said: That the king would not survive.

Rukaiya was inconsolable. So were the other begums. The last food was being prepared. In the evening all would be over. All of them would consume poison and die to be with their Jalal in jannat.

Agra fort: Jodha's chamber

Moti had heard the news that a pegam from the battlefield had come. And so she ran to the gates. But when she reached there she could not believe her ears. What was she supposed to tell Jodha? How could kanha do this to his devotee? Jodha would die. She surely would.

Moti bai walked to Jodha's chamber, her each step heavy. As she entered she saw Jodha finish her prayer. Jodha turned around and saw her enter. She got up to give her the aarti.

"kya baat hai Moti? Tum itni chintit kyun ho?" [what happened? Why are you so tensed?]

"Jodha...Jodha wo..." tears started rolling down her eyes and she looked at Jodha miserably.

Jodha was confused. "kuch hua hai kya Moti? Yeh ashru kyun?"[has something happened? Why are there tears...?]

"Jodha...thumhara bhay sahi nikla Jodha...shehensha...shehensha ab iss duniya mein nahi rahe."[Jodha...your fear was right. shehensha is no more.]

The thaal of aarti fell from Jodha's hand as she sank to the ground. Her body numbed. Moti ran to her. Jodha was not even crying. Moti was saying something but Jodha was beyond listening to her. She looked at Moti and tried to get up but suddenly lost her balance and fell again. her world had crashed like a broken vase. This couldn't be true. That's it! It was all a joke. He loved to play jokes on her. He loved to taunt her. And then when she would get angry he would come and placate her. He would do stupid things to make her laugh. And when she would finally laugh and could not stop he would kiss her suddenly to make her stop.

A lone tear travelled down her cheek. It had been so perfect just two months ago. And now he was not there. He had promised and this was the first time he had broken it.

Moti suddenly felt Jodha stand up. She looked up at her from the ground. Jodha seemed...off. Too dignified, too regal.

"Jodha?"

"Moti prabandh karo."[make preparations]

"kiska prabandh Jodha...?"[what preparations?]

"uska jise humhe abhi iss avastha mein karna chahiye."[that which I should do in this situation.]

Moti was even more confused, but whatever it was she didn't like it.

"kya kar rahi ho tum Jodha?"[what are you doing?]

"Jhouhar"

On the route:

To say Jalal was at his limit would be an understatement. Jalal was so tired that even though he was riding on the horse his eyes were closing every now and then. On top of that just to not fall asleep he had not taken opium. And the chill wind was like salt on his wounds. His pain was unbearable. The only thing that kept him going was that if he did not reach in time his Jodha would undergo far more painful death than he can even imagine.

That stupid woman! Why in the god's name would she even choose such a horrible way to die was beyond him. She had explained it to him once. She had very well explained.

Jalal was standing in his balcony, When Jodha entered his room. He smiled. Nowadays she wouldn't bother to ask his permission to enter first. He didn't mind it either. As she walked close to him her bangles tinkled and his smile grew wider. She had no idea that the sound of her bangles was music to him. And the only other melody that could beat that was her voice.

"pranam shehensha"

"Jodha begum, kuch kaam tha humse?"[you had some work with me.]

He turned around in time to catch a glimpse of her narrowed eyes before she composed herself again. he bit down his smile.

"hum aapko balpurvak stri ki sati Jane ki parampara par rok lagan eke liye apna aapke prati aabhar vyakt karna chahte hai."[I have come to you to convey how grateful I am to you for banning forcible sati.]

Jalal smiled and said, "par humhe toh laga tha ki aap iss fasile se kush nahi hongi. Aakhir kar aap bhi toh kuch aisa hi manti hai na. kuch jhouhar..."[ but I thought you would be unhappy with my decision as you believe in jhouhar.]

"haan parantu vo humhara swayam ka nirnay hota hai. Naki kisi ka dabav."[but its our own decision. Not under someone's force.]

"hum kuch samjhe nahi." Jalal was genuinely confused. He could not see the difference.

Jalal walked to his bed and sat down. he gestured to his side indicating that Jodha too sits. Jodha walked to him and sat beside him as she continued.

"hum jo karte hai vo kevalhumhara nirnay hota hai. Hum rajvanshi humesha ek raja se shaadi karte hai. Isske karan jab humhare pati ki mrutyu ho jati hai toh jisne unhe haraya hai vo rajya par kabza karte hai. Hum jhouhar karte kyunki hum apne jivan se adhik apne maan ka moll agate hai."[when our husband dies we do jhouhar because we value our respect more than our lives.]

Jalal always found it a commendable trait in women to be so loyal. But Jodha was Jodha. Her loyalty could not be questioned. He had no doubt that if something were to happen to him his Jodha would not live even a day.

"par Jodha...aag kyun? Itni darndnak maut kyun?"[why such painful death?]

"taki mrityu ke bad bhi humhara deh pavitra rahe. Koi par purush humhare mrit sharir ko bhi choon na paye."[to keep our body pure.]

He suddenly got up. "bas Jodha...hum iss bare mein baat nahi karna chahte. Aapko kuch ho jayega iss soch se hi humhara jaan atak jati hain."[enough of this. I dread even the thought of something happening to you.]

Jodha smiled and got up. She put her arms around him and hugged him from behind. His tensed muscles relaxed into her.

"hum bhi aapke bina mar jayen..."

Before she could complete he had turned around and kissed her. He always did this to shut her up when he didn't want to listen to what she was saying. It always worked. He pushed her and both fell on his bed. He was careful enough to put his weight on his elbows placed besides her. She smiled into his lips and that was enough for him to go crazy.

Jalal did not realise that he had slowed down and was almost asleep with his head bowed. He looked up at the sky and saw that it was almost sunset. He kicked his horse to gain speed as memories of Jodha haunted him.

Agra fort:

"Jodha aisa mat karo."

Moti pleaded to Jodha as Jodha walked out of the fort to go to her pyre. It was a bit far. But it hardly mattered to Jodha. All she could think was how Jalal had told her, this would happen that day. Jodha closed her eyes and the memory came to her.

Jalal came hurriedly into her chamber. He was anxious.

"shehensha? Kya hua hai?"

Jalal looked at her as she sat on her bed. He immediately ordered all to leave them alone and came and hugged her.

"Jodha humne suna ki aapka pair phisal gaya aur aap gir gayi. Aap thik toh hai?"

"haan shehensha." Jodha smiled, "aapki begum ko bhi kabhi kuch ho sakta hai?"

Jalal hugged her tighter.

"shehensha?" Jodha asked as she could not understand his such strong reaction.

"Jodha...agar aap ko kuch ho gaya to hum toot jayenge aur shehensha hone ke nate hum humhe toot ne ka koi haq nahi. Kabhi bhi humhe aisi kashmakkash mein mat dalna Jodha."[if something were to happen to you I would break. And a king cannot break. So never put me in such situation.]

Jodha pulled back and looked into his eyes. they had teared up and so did hers. She smiled and said, "yeh bhi koi kehne ki baat hai?"[you don't need to say it.]

"Jodha...humesha yaad rakhna...tumhari saase hai tab tak meri dhadkan hai. Jis din tumhari saase ruk jayengi uss din ye dil dhadkna band kar dega."[always remember. You breathe that's why my heart beats. The day you stop breathing will be the day my heart stops beating.]

Jodha was touched beyond words. She bent forward and touched her forehead to his chest and said with mock annoyance, "yeh to anyay hai shehensha. Ek nari ka saubhagya hota hai suhagan marna. Aap humse yeh saubhagya kaise chin sakte hai?"[that's unfair. You take from me the right to die as a married women]

"Jodha...par ek shehensha ka dil na dhadke yeh toh tumhe hi gavara nahi hai. Phir?"[but a you don't want a king with a heart that does not beat.]

Jodha smiled. "vo sab chodiye. Chaliya bahar chalte hai. Aakash kitna saaf hai."[leave that. look how clear the skies are.]

Jalal pulled back to look at her with a smirk.

"aap shayad bhool rahi hai begum Jodha ki aapke pair mein moch hai."[have you forgotten that you have twisted your leg?]

"par hum jana chahte the."[but I want to go]

Jodha looked down at her leg and pouted. Jalal chuckled and suddenly a naughty thought hit him.

"arey humhari begum koi kwaish kare aur shehensha vo puri na kare aisa kabhi ho sakta hai kya?"[is it possible that the queen wishes for something and the king doesn't fulfil it?]

Jodha looked at him suspiciously as he got up. "kya matlab hai aapka?"[what do you mean?]

Jalal deviously smiled at her and swiftly picked her up in his arms. Jodha started protesting as he started walking towards the balcony.

"humhe niche utariye. Yeh kya vichitrata hai?"[put me down. what strange behaviour is this?]

Suddenly Jalal let go of her and then as quickly caught her. That shut Jodha up. Jalal mischievously smiled at her and pulled her closer as they made their way to the balcony.

As much as she may not want to admit it, being carried by him like this, in his strong arms. She was enjoying it. She relaxed and leaned her head against his chest which was strangely very warm.

Just then her pyre came into her site and Jodha smiled at how much she missed that warmth.

Agra fort: gate

As soon as Jalal reached the gates he was about to fall but Shafqat was already by his side to support him. Jalal got down from his horse and immediately ran in as the doors opened. The moment the guards saw Jalal an uproar rose and everywhere the news of his being alive was fast spreading. Rukaiya and hamida came out and stilled in their tracks as they saw him standing right there alive. Salima too immediately thanked allah for bring him back alive.

Rukaiya was the first to recover and run to him. She hugged him like she was holding on to her dear life.

"Jalal aap thik hai..."

Jalal was relieved to see everyone safe and sound but the one he was searching for was not there. He pulled back from Rukaiya's hug and asked, "Jodha kaha hai?"

He saw Rukaiya's face fall but he did not have time to placate her. Jodha's life was at stake.

Just then Motibai came out running And fell at Jalal's feet.

"shehensha, Jodha ko bacha lijiye. Wo yeh samjh kar ki aap nahi rahe...jhouhar karne gayi hai."[save jodha. She is dying since she thinks you are dead.]

Just what he had feared...Jodha...

Hamida fumed at Moti, "toh tumne unhe roka kyun nahi..."[why didn't you stop her"]

"humne koshish kit hi par..."[I tried but...]

"Jodha kabhi kisi ki kahan sunti hai" said Jalal through gritted teeth.

He didn't even bother to look back at people staring at him and broke into a run. He hoped he was not late.

Late...

"shehensha humhe itni pratiksha kyun karni pad rahi hai?"[why do we have to wait?]

"kyunki sabra ka phal mitha hota hai."

"sare phal mithe hotey hai"[all fruits are sweet.]

"aap humesha hum se behes kyun karti hai?"[why do you always argue with me?]

"kyun ki aap aisi tedhi tedhi chize karte hai."[because you do complicated stuff]

"ab humne kya kiya?"[what did I do?]

"humse pratiksha karvayi."[you made me wait]

"ab suraj par toh humara hokum nahi hai na."[I don't rule the sun]

"lekin suryasta mein aisi kya visheshta hai?"[what is so special about sunset?]

"wo tumhe dekne par hi pata chalega."[you will know when you see]

Just then the sun set.

"chalo ab hum bahar ja sakte hai."[now we can go out]

Jalal got up and Jodha followed him out.

And then they were standing in front of a pond full of night lotus with fireflies swarming all over the place.

Jodha was memerised.

"pasand aaya aapko?"[do you like it?]

"humhare paas sabdh nahi hai iss samay]"[I don't have words right now.}

Jalal smiled and slowly walked to her. He stood behind her and She immediately out of habit leaned on him. He put his hands on her waist and both enjoyed the beautiful view.

She had thought him to live. And now he could not imagine a life without her.

There he saw her, sitting on the stage of wood with her back towards him. So far it was sheer determination to see her that had got his legs to move but now they gave in. he could not take a step further. So with all his might and every last ounce of his energy he screamed, "JODHA!!!"

0--------------------------------------------------------------------------------0

She had sat on the pyre. She closed her eyes to pray. As she started praying she felt as though she he was near. She wanted to look back but that would mean attachment to this world and what was the point of attaching herself to a world where he was not there. She again closed her eyes and that's when she heard him call out to her, "JODHA!!!"

There was no mistaking in it. It was his voice. So either he was really here or she was hallucinating. She stood up on the pyre and slowly turned around dreading that he might not be there. But when she turned he was there.

There he was tired, broken, wounded and fatigued to the point that to stay standing he had held his sword with both hands and dug it in the ground. His head was bent and even from here she could make out how heavily he was panting. But none of that mattered. All that mattered was that he was alive!

Right now she was breathing and his heart was beating.

She stepped down from the pyre.

She saw him sway forward and she ran to him to catch him.

0----------------------------------------------------------------------0

Even though his head was bent he somehow managed to steal a glance to see if Jodha had heard him. When she stepped down he realised his work was done and his body gave out. He fell forwards waiting for the impact with the ground. But instead he felt two arms clutch his shoulders.

Her scent her touch it all felt home. He had missed her so much these past two months was not even describable. He let her hug him and caress his hair as she cried uncontrollably thanking her kanha.

He could feel the darkness seeping in and he let it too. He was tired but he was home.

He could hear his heart racing and feel her heartbeats too.

And the last thought in his mind was that for the first time

Their heartbeats had matched.

--the end--

Now that you have taken the trouble to read it please do the extra trouble of liking it and telling me how it was...don't worry, If you didn't like something feel free to say so. but don't hold back if you like something also.
