So I haven't been watching tv for a couple of weeks because of muharram and I just caught up on what's going on. I'm really surprised and kind of disappointed actually. This whole fake pregnancy fiasco is confusing me. As usual, it came up ouyt of nowhere and there are way too many loopholes.
1. At the jashn, when jodha was given the sharbat to drink and she fainted straight away, everyone should have known that she fell ill because the drink was spiked, not because she's pregnant! Even Jalal or jodha themselves didn't even think of that, they just stupidly believed what that nurse said. Kinda reminds me of when ruqayya had a misscarriage and jalal straight away put the blame on jodha because she gave her that drink at the jashn, but now he's making another dumb mistake 😕
2. Where did this ring come from? they didn't show anything about a wedding ring and it can't be the ring from the taraazoo scene, since all those gifts were supposedly given to the poor, so she must have somehow stole the ring back, which I highly doubt. Again, the cv's are forgetting the storyline and making up things out of the blue...
3. This fake vachan again! Jalal never promised not to touch her without her permission, yet jodha keeps going on and on about it in every damn episode. He got drunk and said he wouldn't touch her because he hated her. I think maybe the cv's got confused with the movie, where hritik promises not to touch aishwarya until she wants him to.
4. How is a baandi or a khwaja sera, whatever that thing was who gave the sharbat to jodha, able to fool everyone, from the king himself, to ruqayya begum and mahum anga? I think it would have made more sense if maham had done this whole drama, because we know that she's able to fool jalal and everyone else, and she has an influential position, she isn't just any random servant. Plus, she has the motive to do it.
5. I couldn't help lol'ing when jodha said ghrina again, though. Finally the old jodha is back 😃 I hope she doesn't stay for long though. I prefer the new and improved jodha. The angry one is only fun in small intervals, once in a while.
Edit- Oh and also, I was going to say that the ring scene with the tarazoo where jodha demands justice reminded me of a scene from mughal e azam where a anarkali's mother comes to akbar with a ring that he gave her as a reward for announcing his son's birth, puts it on the tarazoo and demands justice from him.
