when i was kid, i heard this story from my 'di'...after all these years i remembered it...!!
akbar was a lover of mangoes. one fine day akbar along with his wife, jodha were enjoying the juicy summer fruit. birbal was there too. akbar thought about playing a prank with his wife. after having the mangoes, he slyly deposited all his mango seeds on jodha's plate when she was not looking.birbal saw this but said nothing...was probably waiting for the oppertunity to speak up!!!!
suddenly akbar said to birbal
akbar- look birbal, ur bhabijaan loves mangoes more than her shauhar...look at her plate...its full...she has eaten mango more than me!!!
jodha knew birbal would say something clever,so she remained silent and smirked.
birbal then acted as if he is genuinly confused...
innocenty, he said,
birbal- jahapana, its true that bhabijaan has eaten mangoes...but not more than u...
akbar- how come??šš
birbal- she has eaten mangoes...but then u have eaten the mangoes as well as the SEEDS TOO!!!!!! ur plate does not contain a single mango seed...
hearing this akbar felt embarresed for his 'chori pakri gayi'...
jodha burst out laughingšššš...
