This serial is also different from others in the sense that male lead is getting equal or more importance than female lead...and audiances and me are liking it...

Yep, that's for sure! Storywise and via the choice of actors the male lead here is dominating!

But then the male lead is far more compelling to watch than the female lead. I mean to say Paridhi is not a bad actress at all, but Rajat just hijacks the screen when he is in the frame, so I am not able to see anyone but him if he is in the scene.

All others in the scene, including the heroine become part of the landscape for me (as for most viewers I think?). Some actors have that power to magnetize eyeballs of viewers.

I was hoping for the dreams/flashbacks too, but I agree with Lashy. They missed the window of opportunity and if they show any sequence like that now, it'll feel forced and unnatural, just like the current track.
