Girls, wouldn't you love to have an enemy like Jalal? Who "despises" you beyond words, but every time you're in any sort of danger cares less about himself and more about you and your safety. Today's episode was beautiful. Not only did we get to see romantic scenes between our Akhda, we know we'll be seeing more tomorrow. It was beautiful to see Jalal staring at Jodha as soon as he got out of his tent while she was busy talking to her maid and simply in her own world. He looks at the moon and then her and hatches up a romantic plan and hints how "it's going to be a new and unique experience to boat ride today" because in his mind he knows he's dragging Jodha along. How many times as he made sly plans as such to woo his other wives? Did you guys notice how his eyes springed up when his mom said Jodha would be accompanying him and then told her maid she would not be going. His smile at that point was to die for. I also enjoyed Jodha's banter about how it's this time of night and he wants to go for a boat ride. I thought that was extremely funny. I loved her sarcasm.
Not only that, he tried to make small talk with Jodha. If only Jodha would have been kind enough to give a good/polite answer. However, how many of you can imagine someone else giving that sort of an answer to Jalal and Jalal in return saying "you're impossible to talk to/argue with?" I don't think anyone else would have the courage to say such a thing and I also don't believe that anyone else but Jodha could get off the hook after speaking that way to Jalal. He simply just sighs in disbelief and annoyance and looks away because he knows he is never going to win this battle, so why try?
But back to what I was saying in the beginning. I have trended too far from my main point. As soon as Jalal knew they were in danger, he's ready to protect Jodha. That seemed to be his first instinct, which is a lovely first instinct. He was in his flirty banter the first portion of the scene and then he's in his protective mode in the latter half. I just would love to imagine, what if something happened to Jodha because of those bandits? What would Jalal do? I mean, would all hell break loose? What do you guys think and what was you favorite part of today's episode? Can't seem to wait for tomorrow. It's going to be such a long wait! š
