That said, I identify with the makers of the show. A love story can't go on forever. After the love is felt and reciprocated, it loses its sheen through the rest of the trials the couple faces. And everyone knows what a drag Queen Ekta is. She will drag something till the carcass has been well and truly diminished into nothingness. Maybe that lessens the grief of the viewers when they have to part with beloved characters.
So, I feel that keeping in mind that its essentially a love story, I feel the pace is quite right and the events though makog us frustrated also increase anticipation when the next AkDha scene comes out of the blue. I do hope it comes out of the blue like the sword fight. I hate it when SBS shows the major portions and takes the fun out of the romance. I am very sure we are in for major treats. And I'm very happy that the CVs are taking their own sweet time getting there. It brings out the beauty in their relationship, all the subtle nuances. For me, Jodha is still very irritating. Not feisty or spirited, but just irritating when she gets all self righteous. I thought she would apologise to Jalal atleast once but no! These character quirks don't make her a very admirable person, though she comes off beautifully when she has to go through a storm of her own making like the tiger scene. Jalal, on the other hand, inspite of his quick temper and devilish smirk makes us adore him even when we get mad at him. I think the CVs need to work on Jodha's character to make it as interesting as Jalal's. Otherwise there won't be any justification for Jalal falling for her.
The show belongs to Akbar. I would love it if Jodha pulled up her socks and made herself into the icon that Rajat manages to be onscreen.
This is my view on the show till now. A big kiss and lots of hugs to my friends here 🤗 To all the people who don't know me, I know most of you very well cuz of my obsessive haunting of this forum. I'm busy with studies, so can't make as much time but you all should know Big Bossy is watching 😆
