Picking from Jalaal's reflection on Jodha's behaviour and his assessment of her 'Baaghi' personality, it is more or less clear that Jalaal is comprehending Jodha's behaviour of accusation , blaming and counter offence as her defence mechanism in her current lonesome state. As per him, due to all the bullcrap she went through and the abandonment by her mother, Jodha is not exactly in a frame of mind that can frame sense or sensibility.

And after what Jalaal told Jodha after saving her - " I hate you with the strength of mountains and I have married you just to cut your wings and avenge my humiliation. While you and i revel in the joy that Jalaal brought her back as Mrs.Jalaal , for Jodha or any woman in her situation will see this as a FAVOUR. So, all that Jalaal could have sorted with one kind word or one sign of acceptance dived in the same lake where Jodha tried to drown herself.

That's why he handles Jodha very calmly today - he doesn't go dragon-dinosaur when Jodha doubts his intentions as a man . He gives her a pickle jibe of " humein bhi aapka ye chehra dekhne ka koi shauk naiin hai" and ushers her to her tent. He doesn't rip the golden drapes into ribbons in fury when Jodha pulls the curtains of divide between him and her. He bears all her tantrums and barbs with a smile , because he knows that behind it all there is a scared princess who feels that she has been abandoned by everyone and the cause of it is Jalaal. Why? Only because he understands that his Baaghi Begum has completely lost it and he shoulders a part responsibility of it... but you gotta trust his smirks. Deep down, he does believe that all these naaz-nakhraas are gonna evaporate with time, effort and fate's intervention. 😳😃👏

Coming to Jodha, i know she is oft criticized for her lack of values, etiquette , virtue - i would agree to it... if this behaviour extended to everyone. It doesn't. It centers only around Jalaal - its him who forces her to be at her raw self and unleash what ever royalty and upbringing censors. 👏👏I am on the same line of thought as Jalaal and i assess her behaviour and its cause just like he does. And i still believe that Jalaal reiterating the lie that he has married her for hatred and saved her only for Mughal Jazz was a mistake. That too after saving her from a suicide for similar reason. Jodha has been at her most vulnerable ever since she married Jalaal... and her tackling has to be soft and calculated... the kind that Jalaal is doing right now.

Jodha's fear that Jalaal wants to violate her modesty appears stupid on the surface. If he had to do it , he could have done it on the first night itself and nobody could have stopped him. But the fear lurks on Jodha ... just like it would lurk on every woman in the presence of a man who claims to attach no sentiments to her. If a man doesn't attach any feeling to you, you, as a woman are bound to feel like an object. We may not realize it , but its inbuilt in women. 👏👏👏

I really liked the way the chess scene was done. These JA writers are rather original for a Hindi tv serial !! Ruqaiyya's insecurity, impatience, and fear of losing her favourite toy-Baadshaah Jalal, was so well-presented! From the arrangement of the live chess board which was Akbar's favourite thing to do-Play chess with beautiful dancing girls , was very well done. Salima is a gentle breeze. Calming , refreshing & invigorating in her piety & quiet dignity.😊

She understands more than she let on & if you noticed, while Ruqaiyya was confidence-boosting herself, there lay a small frown on Salima Begum's forehead . As if she knew that Ruqaiyya wasn't talking about he game of Chess, but the Game of Life in which she wishes to be no. 1, and Jodha down below.

Thank you. 😃...You are bang on about Saleema's assessment of Ruqqu. Saleema , just like Hameeda has a future intuition that JJ are gonna be forever , and she can sense the unrest and insecurity in Ruqqu at the chessboard. I loved the entire scene and it foreshadows trouble for JJ. 😆

Haha the minute Jalal calmly told Jodha that he doesn't want to see her face ,Jodha was like, huh? Why? I am the Ameri gulaab " .. 😆Her face registered disappointment & then anger because Jalal laughed at her. It's adorable the way she always asks him, "Aap hasse kyun. ?" She sounds like a small 5 year old being laughingly reprimanded😆.. Even Jalal's laughter depicts so much! Amusement, bemusement, anger, irritation, fondness, and care .. And the little head shake was so cute too 😳

Lol, cute na?😆... Jodha was irked and her womanhood offended when Jalaal almost said that she was not pretty enough to interest him.😆... That is why Jalaal is always confused that what does Jodha want anyway? 😆...Jalaal seemed to be finding her glaring and blaring rather cute today.😳

You are absolutely right, Jodha does feel like an object to Jalal that is why when he defends her publicly she fails to see his genuity in it.A man that says you are my trophy then says you are my begum can be confusing especially when his actions backs up his words.I really cant say who is going to fall in love first but they have to be friends first then lovers.They have to build a foundation of trust and honesty between the two only them would they be able to shoe the romance.

I absolutely loved Jalal's trademark smirks.They never cease to amaze and captivate me.

As for Jodha it seems like Suhag Raat is on her mind round the clock.She never chose to ignore anything when she thinks is Jalal's attempt to claim his conjugal rights.I for one will be thankful if my hubby will stay up all night to make sure i was safe.How can one not see he genuinely cares for her and does uphold her honour.Its always some MU or some misguided comment that gets Jalal enraged and lashes out on Jodha.

I loved how he takes all her insults in and pours out a cute smirk today.It showed his patience to a childlike Jodha who really can make up her mind on what she wants.When he stares at her thinks he is up to something naughty.When he goes to sleep she thinks he is not fulfilling his duties.How on earth is Jalal going to please Jodha,a confused and unpredictable Queen???

I would have said to Jalal just hop into the bed and cuddle the unwilling Begum only them can u ensure she doesnt go wandering off for anything nor would any dangerous animal dared to attempt to wake up the beauty and the beast(acc to Jodha).

I just hoped Jalal doesnt kiss that snake in front of Jodha...caz i am team Jodha for the kiss☺️

Ruqqu needs to break her glass palace of pride and behave herself. Her behaviour with Saleema and other beghums at the chessboard was ASHOBHANIYA and just not done.
