I was thinking about the first point today, well the second part of it; why did Ruk give Jodha and her brothers a chance to prove their innocence? She knows there's a chance Jodha didn't do it, but if she really wanted to, she could have let Jodha die and then investigate the saazish later ... my guess is she has a conscience... and she's not all twisted and evil like MA... Ruk is just a bully at times, she reminds me of those little kids in elementary school who want to be in command and boss the kids around them.
