Friends, I am opening this weekend analysis thread as Jyoti will join in later.

I am actually skipping the entire name change discussion...as it all seems a publicity gainer to me now...Until a change really happens!

Now let's come to the big changes in Jalal:

This week has seen at least eight different signs of a big change in Jalal. We have started seeing his heart. He himself has started seeing his heart. The creatives are wanting us now to see his heart.

Firstly...superb breakdown of Jalal potrayal of this week...It indeed was a Jalal focussed week...but hv to say...the last episode...Jodha (Paridhi) gave proper takkar to him...in terms of acting as well as her character!

1. First was that splendid scene with the Hindu boy whose parents he punishes. The child then simply asks "Shanhenshah, aap ka mere liye kya aadesh hai?" and to that an emperor is left with no reasonable answer. He see in that child a throwback to his own past separated from his parents, tears well up in his eyes, and he chokes on his words, as he says to himself: "No child, however well cared for by servants and others, will ever be able to fill that void that not having his parents create in his childhood. It stays with him forever". He returns the child to his parents, but alas, Jodha does not see this softness gesture and still thinks of Jalal as the villain, thus giving room for the next important scene of Jalal changing ...

The scene was a very well scripted scene...These kind of scenes actually makes this EKTA show watch able for its quality...Rajat definitely took that scene to another level..with his dignified portrayal. Adding to it..Sumwhere all the scenes and tracks seem incomplete to me...Again I might be sounding too negative...But it will be more interesting if every act leads upto sumthing...or completes sumwhere!

Jalal releasing the Hindu boys parents has been left incomplete...coz his action hasn't made any impact on anyone else in the show other than the viewers!

2. Jalal is visibly agitated that Jodha has spurned his wish-granting farman after the chess match and she has actually returned the farman through a servant back to him. He, as usual, finds an excuse to go to her room, and instead of trying to ask why, he starts by telling her what an insult it is to the emeperor to decry his wish! Jodha comes out with a sentence that is still ringing in my ears. She says: "You who are in the habit of grabbing things from people, what would people like you have to give others?". All he can think of replying, as he listenes stunned to these words, is that "The emperor must be respected". But that night in a classic telltale sign of his heart beginning to work overtime, he is unable to sleep. He tosses annd turns in agony and needs to get out for a breath of fresh air. Her words keep taunting him. The strange thing is that he was not so affronted by her saying he grabbed the Hindu boy's parents from him. That part did not hurt Jalal as much as the fact that she was thinking so ill of him. He had never imagined, I suppose, that Jodha's opinion of him was so low, and that he was so unredeemable in her eyes. Or perhaps she woke him up to his own wrong self-perception. This sleepless night led to that makabra scene ...

I really felt for Jalal at that time..loll...the guy is just being continuously blasted by Jodha...and he for some reason (termed louuuve!) isn't really able to give back the way he actually would to any other lady!..well i guess thats coz Jodha isn't any other lady! Where at one place the whole mughal sultanata keeps prasing Jalal..here is this one gal..who just regards his every action as rude and cruel...UFF these guts must kill him! This gal is his reality check!

3. That lovely Akbbar ka makarbra scene, that first started telling the story of Jodha and Akbar, came into play again, when the shadowy figures of Akbar and Jodha discuss how that night was the first time Jodha has pierced into the armoury of Jalal and reached his heart. He says "You talked of my grabbing things, and grabbed away my sleep." She replies "There's a very fine line between hatred and love that we both saw that day". The makabra talks were so much with Jalal that even as he paced the flooor of the bedroom, sleepless, he was completing the dialogues that the shadowy Akbar in the makabra was saying. I thought it was a grand moment when Jalal was not only waking up to the softer side of himself, thanks to Jodha's barbs, but he had the grace to acknowledge that she had a point, however much her point was based on an untrue accusation she had made without knowing Jalal has united the Hindu parents with their child. I am quite sure that night, Jalal the grabber wanted to desperately become Jalal the giver. Maybe that is why he readily took sword in hand to rush to the harem himself to oust the intruder. Many of us were asking why he did that, but could it have been because he felt the need to show himself (to his own self) as a different giving person? Who knows, your guess is as good as mine.

The makbara scene is so amazing...nd perfect timing for it to come...I like how these scenes are included...coz at that time..U cant show Akbar having those thoughts loud in his mind with a voice over...LOLL ..The makbara JA really help..to bring out the depth in the scene.

Well i dont think Jalal rushed into the Harem to prove to himself as a giver...the reason he did tht was coz Ruqaiya called out to him for taking a worng decision by letting go of Man Singh...since one has been forgiven...the others too have assumed they will be...This i guess pissed him off...nd he wanted to prove to the intruder...tht ..its not gonna be like tht...(If ur not related to Jodha...u get no special preference...lolll)

4. That harem tamasha of trying to find the illegal male interloper was all about the Adam-Moti saga. So also the later punishment of Moti. And the subsequent release of Moti using the shahi farman by Jodha. But there are aspects of Jalal's behaviour in all that which I want to highlight as part of his change that I saw. First was the way he changed when Jodha suddenly held him by the arm as he tried leaving the Diwan E Khas after reading that farman and seeing that he would have to keep his word to Jodha. He was about to go away in the full knowledge that he was doing the politically correct thing by saving Moti as per the farman, but that momentary pull on his arm by Jodha changed the nature of his intent. After he looked slightly amused and then mesmerised by what she had done, and he too caught her hand as she lost balance, the Moti saving saga seemed to be all about " ... I can't refuse you anything, Jodha, especially when you start tugging at my heart strings". That seemed to be the unspoken dialogue for me. But in typical fashion Jalal just put his face as close to Jodha as he could and reiterated his always keeping his word. I have by now realised that whenever Jalal gets his face within inches of Jodha's and speaks a bit roughly and agitatedly, he is surely not meaning what he says and is in fact betraying that he is being pulled by her attraction.

I really have no words for that scene...it was beyond adorable...Jodha authority in stopping Jalal...and Jalals trying to be rude yet mesmerized with the touch...UFFF...killed it!

5. When Moti was getting built into the wall, and earlier while she was waiting in the prison, the fact that the emperor himself thought it fit to go and talk to her about last chances to save herself and to ask after her last wishes, even calling her "Gustakh Ladki" (which almost sounded like an enderament in those circumstances), made me feel he was actually imagining talking to Jodha herself there and not just to Moti. He was almost willing Jodha-Moti to win this case, and their firm stance as well as the fact that Moti swore on Jodha about her innocence, and Jodha looked aghast at the turn of events at the Diwan E Khas were clearly working on Jalal very strongly. As his mother said to Jodha, "Woh usool ke bahut pakke hain", but it looked like the usool-bent Jalal was desperate enough to try to find a loophole for his usool's himself.

LOLL...i have said this before...i feel sad for Jalal...if Jodha refusing his every request/demand wasnt enough...even Moti dint really care for the aakhri khwaish offered to her by him!

Jalal definitely dint believe Moti would do sumthing like this...the reason he promptly decided to check on Adham first even without any hesitation or back question. He dint doubt in the first case that Moti could be lying about Adham...inspite of Adham being Mahas son...thts how low he thinks of Adham..! But later he dint hv a choice but to go with the visible proofs...I really expected a bit of drag here...with Jodha trying to figure out what is the khichdi...and putting down Jalals decision ...but alas...the kambakht farman shattered it all...Still hoping for a continuation!

6. The farman filfilment was of course the crowning moment of the week, especially since every one of us was speculating wildly on theories of how Moti would be saved. We examined even the Mugha-e-Azam exit route for Moti, the possibility of Jodha doing some hero-giri, the possibility of Jalal himself doing jasoosi on Adam, of Adam's wife maybe bluurting out the truth, or the dead corpse in the harem kitchen suddenly being found to be too illiterate to write a love letter. But as they say in robust Hindi every theory became a "tain tain fiss" and by a simple act of fulfilling Jodha's farman the matter was over in seconds. I thought Jalal actually looked relieved when Jodha produced that farman. He himself was groping for ways to possibly not have to continue with Moti's punishment. The way he tore that farman may have looked like he was cursing it, but to me it looked like sheer relief on his face as he thought "There, that's now over and done with. All's well that ends well."

Jalal was the perfect emperor in handling this case...(though there were bloopers in the track!). Again this has been left incomplete...Yes everyone had sat here and wondered how Moti is going to be saved...Now all thsi looks like just a way to utilize and finish off with the farman...We all were misleaded with farman throwing in the promo thinking of it as rejected when it was just to clear it off as utilized!...I m hoping there is a continuation...Jodha needs to get Motis respect back...after all..Moti has been saved as a demand and not bcoz she was right/not an accused...Yes revealing true faces is too early rght now...but some progress needs to be there. There were a lot of expectations...and it all ended with the farman...Hopefully...there is a continuation and completion...coz again this has led to no-where.

7. And now to that swordfight! Let me first say it was one of the most authentic looking swordfights I have seen picturised in Hindii serials. I always thought Paridi may never match up to Rajat's skills in this department, but boy had she done a lot of practice. She was terrific. They both were, and their expressions as they talked to each other through the sequence... both were shikar to fleeting emotions like bewilderment, admiration, incredulity, adjustment of their ideas of each other - and dare I say, the beginnings of a fatal attraction known as love. There were three moments of the fight that had me enthralled. One, was when he unmasked her face gently to show her whole face to his gaze and not just her eyes. The music that was harsh changed to a soft tune, their tune, and he was dumbbstruck for a moment with her beauty. Then came that moment when he had her flat on her back but she fought back and threw him off-balance with sheer strength. He was in awe at that moment of the steel in her. He looked thrown in more ways than one. And finally when he has her swordless, pinned to the wall, and is giving her lectures on how she could have asked for his head or her own freedom instead of Moti's freedom, she stands as if she has lost the match, but in an absolutely unguarded moment, she grabs his sword and stands over him the victor. Did you all just see his priceless expression? My God, the great Shahenshah looked like he had lost everything, and yet had also gained something precious! His expression I can't quite describe. Was he proud of his wife, and what she had done? It looked like it, as he stood there without his sword but with a new understanding of who she really was, and what she meant to him.

The sword fight was well done again...Paridhi has worked hard...hats off to her! I m glad it wasnt an exact copy of the movie..and there were good variations...the scene ended at an interesting point...lets see wht Monday brings in...Jodha needs to tell Jalal...why nothing meant more to her than saving Moti using tht farman...! She needs to answer his questions and let him know again...she is just not one of his other begums..she is JODHA!

8. Accha, now to the precap scene. Jyoti and I discussed it over SMS last night and arrived at the conclusion that Jalal was full of bravado and nothing more to Ruqaiya. He is deeply smitten by Jodha and now wants to use the "dil ka route" for her and not the "dimaag ka route". But his ego makes it necessary at least in front of Ruqaiya to act like all this is a new strategy to conquer Jodha's ghamand. As he was still saying he should now reconsider his strategy as he has been so far unsucccessful, I thought I saw a glaze in his eyes for Jodha that I have not seen there before. He was saying one thing to Ruqaiya, about conquering Jodha's hard-headedness, but his eyes were softly looking forward to the new way that he planned to do it. Friends, I think next week is going to be all about Jalal's new tactics of wooing Jodha into submission, so let's wear the seatbelts and get ready for the ride!

I am not gonna think too much over it...Without watching the epi...it might again be like we are thinking too much...but there actually is nothing... BUT one thing is for sure...Their is gonna be a progress in JA's relationship...+ve or -ve...there will be progress!

Big Boo-Boos this week for me:

Here are four that either cracked me up or pissed me off:

a. Adam saying " M o t i B a i", " M o t i B a i", " M o t i B a i", and apparently lusting for her chasing her around the corridors. Is that the way a villain lusts? " M o t i B a i", " M o t i B a i", sounded like a dying man's voice coming from his belly as he gasps for air. And as for the dupatta on his head later in the harem ... god that looked like a cross-dressing Kumbhakarna! Pathetic acting, pathetic direction and hilarious! It would have been great if Jalal had just unmasked him in the harem and given all the girls there the license to lynch him!

😆😆 Chetan is a great actor...but gosh...this ADHAM is such a fool...he for sure has no genes of his MOM!

b. Ruqaiaya-Maham face off ... what a seesaw. First one unleashes dhamkis at the other, and then the other one turns the tables on the first one. Wow, in the end both went under! Actually in the solving of the Moti saga, more than the punishment of Adam, I wanted to see the punishmment of Ruqaiya for not telling Jalal about seeing Adam in the harem. But alas ...

I liked Maham shutting tht Ruqaiya...she is acting too smart with tht tiny winy brain of hers nd that too in front of Mahamanga...She has theresponsibility of Harem on her...and too she cant fulfill properly..and wants to be known as the Mallika e Khaas...with each day she is more of Bakwaas...nd nothing Khaas! Ohh..ditto here...i was actually hoping Ruqaiya indirectly helps in getting moti justice so Jalal too gets to know abt her action...but the farman ruined it all!

c. Maham-Jodha dialogue: The posion bottle, and the way Maham described the rising discomfitures of Moti inside the growing wall were meant to be scary but they sounded way OTT and I was surprised they even shook Jodha. It was not a very good scene for me, although it was meant to be a typical Maham brush-off of things that happened around her son.

It definitely was OTT...why would a lady like Maham wierdly talk to Jodha ... At that instance she sounded more like a loser than a winner! and Jodha crying...ohh god... KSBKBT type ii looked...! I wont be surprised if very soon...they will make Maha too as wierd OTT Komilika to make Jodha look like the tortured bahu!

d. Hamida-Jodha dialogue: The absolute impotency of the mother of the emperor was seen in that scene. What she said to Jodha was true, that she could not interfere in a legal issue, and Jalal should be trusted to be fair ..." but it's the way she said it all, as if she was whining with impotency and throwing her figurative hands in the air, that got me pissed off. C'mon Hamida, no matter how your son treats you, how the hell are you treating yourself like mud before anyone else? You are giving off these "I am useless" vibes!

Hamida thinks very low of herself actually...yes Jalal hasnt given her that importance in his life...but she carries the designation...Hamida needs to be a little more motivated...This show needs to stop brining down one character to rise the other..Maha is imp to Jalal...but hamida is his mom whtsoever!
She Maha and Jalal are the 3 people allowed to visit the jail..yet she thinks she cant talk to Jalal...Baat karne mein kya jaata hai..!

Okay, I've written more than I intended. I haven't done a day by day analysis or even a scene by scene analysis, I've just put down thoughts as they occurred to me. Lots of contra-opinions are welcome, so do please contribute and have a ball tearing my analysis to shreds! Have a good weekend, all!

U hv written it down well...Jalal was the highlight definitely...nd everything revloved around his decision and actions...!

Tara:
One addition to your points regarding this Jodha-Moti vs Maham-Adam, and who will Jalal believe. ...
From past experience Jalal will naturally distrust Maham-Adam because of Salima already naming them in the murder of Bairam Khan. Though Jalal could not prove it, both these mother and son duo are already in Jalal's watchlist?
Regarding trusting Jodha-Moti, see this Jalal has seen Moti take Kasam on Jodha's head, and Jodha herself has proved in Amer that she is extremely fair when she asked her father to spare Abdul by quoting usool at him!
The thing is Jalal not only wants to believe Jodha and Moti for personal and private reasons, but even logically and rationally Jodha-Moti have proved their reliability - while Adam-Maham have cast a shadow of doubt on themselves via Salima.

Ohhh tht adds in too...Adham is definitely in his watchlist...

Maham i m not very sure...since he places her at a very high place in his life!

But IF..(a big IF)... truth comes to face...Jalal will not think twice before punishing Adham...and thats when Maham will emotional blackmail him...and then its upto Jalal what he decides 😉

Yes indeed, this Jalal does over-idolise Maham. But there is a way Jodha can change that ... for that she has to make Jalal appreciate his own mother Hamida and the sacrifices she has made to keep her child safe when she and her husband were on the run from people who wanted to kill them all. Jalal thinks his mother betrayed him and abandoned him in his childhood and hence did not love him, but Jodha has to show Jalal that it was a gesture of very deep love only that makes a mother separate her only child from herself at such a tender age for his own safety. She was selfless!
The minute Jalal begins to see the greatness of Hamida's love versus the matlabi quality of Maham's love, his undue importance of Maham will go away. Unfortunately Hamida is too weak to explain her own case. So unless Jodha does something to reveal the value of Hamida, Jalal will continue to think his mother abandoned him. And he will continue to lean on Maham. I feel Jalal is ready to change his dependence on Maham (after he heard of Bairam's murder) but he has not got that link with his own mother so as to be able to cut his connections with Maham.
Similarly also is his dependence on Ruqaiya. He needs Jodha in his life in a closer relationship to be able to cut off Ruqaiya's domination.
The big question here is: Why does Jalal need to have some one connection in his life to cut another one? Can he not stand on his own? Why is is Maham vs. Hamida? Why is it Jodha vs. Ruqaiya? When Bairam was alive, why did he need to lean on Bairam?
That seems to be a genuine weakness in Jalal's character that he always needs someone to lean on and if he loses one he seeks another. Maybe Jodha has to also teach him that he is OK to be on his own legs, he does not need anyone, not even Jodha, to be a complete man.
The others are taking advantage of Jalal's neediness for support by trying to be his crutch. But since Jodha is selfless, she may be able to make him independent even of herself, which is the greatest gift she can give him.

Definitely Jodha can play an important role in creating that link...Hamida needs to connect with her son...

Thats why some progress in JA relationship needs to happen...as u said...Hamida is too weak to connect wit Jalal...similarly Jalal is too egoisitic and hurt ... and there is no-one else who will actually bother...Jodha is the only one who will slowly understand this and try to take a sep to bring the mother son closer...!

Mother son bonding can also further anger Maham and that too can lead upto sumthign interesting.

Since the day Jodha has arrived in Harem...she has been shown to be keenly observing people and trying to differentiate them based on theri actions...She has had a connect with few...she shld sit and talk to them rather than being with Kanha all the time...!

I recently started to watch the show and since I have seen it had not shown anything objectionable about rajputs. The karni seva is all for political gain since next year is election year. That's why Gehlot is also quiet. Sick people. All this is mentioned in NCERT books from years on. Why don't they read these School books first? They have resorted to hooliganism because they know they are wrong. Mughals ruled over India by usurping Rajputs- how can these hooligans defy this? The big banner movie was also released- where were these hooligans then? Ekta and Zee should fight it out instead caving in. The show is doing good which means public support is there.

Jalal tore apart the farman as if trying to tell Jodha, I stand by my word and no need for proof. The promo made it look so different. Jodha does love and care for Moti. Perhaps now Adam true self would be revealed. Jalal is smitten by Jodha, esp when she clasps his hand. During sword fight too, he is in awe of her. Jodha is focused on her objective hence she is not reacting much to Jalal. He wants to know why she used the farman for Moti when she could have asked his head/ freedom/luxury. Her response will make Jalal value human relationships, care and trust.

MahamAnga downfall too will start but they will stretch it for few months.

Ruquiaya will be worst hit when she finds Jalal in love with Jodha.

Just wanted to know why does Jalal marry Jodha? Love/lust or revenge/ hatred? Or politics?

Mansi awesome take ⭐️⭐️⭐️ .. loved all your pointers as well as the boo-boos 😆 .. I had more or less same views regarding whole of last week 👍🏼

About name change issue , I too feel best option is to wipe off two names "Rajputs" and "Mughals" which r the main roots of all the problems ... they can simply show two kingdoms .. one hindu and another Muslim and then I dont think anyone can hv any issues 🤔.. I really hope in the process of changing storylines to satisfy the protesters , Jalal-Jodha love story is not compromised at any cost

Now coming to my take on last week .. there r 10 interesting points which I will mention that really caught my attention last week 😳

1) Jodha is different which might make all the difference in Jalal too 😛 : I m not sure how many noticed this all important dialogue by a random begum of Jalal in Harem when Ruqaiyya hysterically laughs at Jodha's foolishness regarding asking for Motibai's life as farmaan instead of demanding something else in her favour and thats when this begum of Jalal tells Ruqaiyya that this is what makes Jodha different from the rest and this is what might eventually go on to impress Jalal too 😛😛 .. Hearing this suddenly Ruqaiyya gets all furious and next moment we see Ruqaiyya secretly stalking Jalal-Jodha during talwaar fight which goes on to show her growing insecurity as she can feel Jalal is slipping out of her hand 😉 ... That begum who said Jodha is different was not wrong either since during the talwaar fight when Jalal gets all smitten with Jodha's intense eyes , he gives similar dialogue to Jodha that "U could hv asked for anything like your freedom or my head .. but u asked for your daasi's life... why" 😉... I felt here Jalal was answering his own question here as he realises that Jodha is not only different from rest of his begums who r mostly self-centered but she is also selfless when it comes to her loyalty as a friend 😳...

At every point Jalal can feel the difference .. Firstly Every other begum would hv demanded something big after getting the golden opportunity to wish anything from Shehenshah .. But Jodha not only rejects the offer but later on she makes use of the offer in favour of someone else's life and not her own 😳... Secondly While all Jalal's begums r busy with Harem politics including Ruqaiyya 😆 , he sees Jodha practicing with a sword like a true warrior , impressive isn't it 😉😳...Thirdly Every other begum waits for months for Jalal to come to them and here Jalal on his own joins Jodha in sword fight and gets defeated too in the end 😛...Fourthly No other begum would dare to enter the meeing darbar where Jalal is discussing the political issues , but Jodha breaks that rule too when she gate crashes the darbar with the farmaan to save Moti's life 😳.. In short she does not fear the shehenshah unlike others when she knows she is honest and right with her viewpoint 👍🏼.. Last but not the least Jalal at night is beginning to feel restless because Jodha's words r starting to prick his heart which for him dint exist all this while 😛..Her words regarding "a man who knows only to snatch away everything , can never give anything to anyone" has hit him hard and he is not able to forget it 😳...

2)Jalal and his growing emotions...Roots of his own childhood 👍🏼 : Is he the same heartless Jalal who used to claim he dont hv a heart and once he takes any decision , he wont change it because even the laws r made by him which can b changed as per his convenience ?? 🤔... I dont think he is that same Jalal anymore 😳.. This week he changes his decision not once but twice 😳.. First he changes a decision in favour of a small kid so that he dont become an orphan and second he changes a decision in favour of Jodha because of the so called Farmaan to grant one wish to her after she won the chess game 😛...

I loved the way Jalal's eyes became moist when he remembers his own childhood and thus realises the worth of parents and how it feels to become an orphan at a early age 😭 .. he dont want any other kid to suffer that way like he suffered in his childhood when he was forced to grow up even before his age and was not even allowed to pour out his emotions to anyone 😭 .. so he immediately changes his decision in favour of the kid by freeing his parents which is first for him.. He does not want the child to suffer 👏👏 .. I hope Jodha later comes to know about this decision change from someone .. I guess the reason why Jodha is giving such strong dialogues to Jalal like u know only to snatch things ,. what will u give me etc etc , is future indication of how later she will eat up her words once she comes to know how he changed his decision for that little kid 😳...

Also the second time when he changes his decision because of the farmaan was also to do with his emotions only .. Initially when Jodha showed him the farmaan and asked him to free Moti , I felt Jalal turned it down by throwing away the farmaan and was walking off in anger but the moment Jodha grabbed his arm , he somewhere felt a bit overwhelmed with that warmly gesture the way he turned back and look at her all amused because noone really held his arms in such a informal manner without any fears 😳.. He always longed for that touch which can make him feel that this is my family 😳.. everyone always interacted with him in a formal manner because he is the shehenshah and even when his begums got intimate with him , it was only out of physical needs without any emotional connect but the way Jodha grabbed his arm yesterday , he could feel a certain emotional connect 😳😳... He passionatley pulls Jodha towards him and tells her in anger that a Shehenshah's word is the ultimate which gives a feel that he might not change his decision but later he does change his decision which again shows his own inner dilemma where his mind is getting pissed off because his heart is falling weak in front of Jodha 😳,,..

So in both cases , I got to see a new emotional side of Jalal this week .. Its clearly shows that he needs a companion soon in his life with whom he can emotionally connect .. someone who can give him that comfort without demanding anything in return .. 😳...

3) Battle of Eqauls ...The spectacular sword fight 😎 : How many felt both Jalal and Jodha were in par with each other during the talwaar fight 😎.. Fulll credit goes to both Rajat and Paridhi for the brilliant display of sword fight which was in par with what we saw in the film 👏👏👏... I will give extra credit to Paridhi here for looking like a complete professional the way she handled the sword and competed witb Rajat who is already a master in handling the sword ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.. The whole scene could hv looked like a comedy if the actors failed to handle the sword and it would hv ended up looking like both playing dandiyas 😆 but my goshhh they both fought like true professionals 😲👏👏👏...

The best part about the whole talwaar fight scene was that everything looked real starting from the clash of both when Jalal joins Jodha for the fight to their dialogue-baazi during the fight which once again proves how both r standing at equals today to that intense eyelock in the end when Jalal gets the better of Jodha but the best part is the eyelock was not stretched too much and so looked real 👍🏼 to the last scene where finally Jodha gets the better of Jalal by throwing his talwaar and picking up her own talwaar and pointing it right at Jalal's heart thus defeating him in the end 😎👏👏... The way Jodha's hair open while she picks up the talwaar and point at Jalal and the way Jalal is all mesmerised with her beauty as well as courage to checkmate the shehenshah was beautifully executed by the director and wonderfully enacted by both Rajat and Paridhi ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.. Even loved the camera angles which focussed on Jalal's bedroom eyes secretly lusting for Jodha while looking at her lips after putting his sword on her neck and almost standing inches apart from her body ☺️☺️☺️☺️... For a second even Jodha got a bit tempted 😉 but she was quick to get back to her consciousness and pick up the talwar to checkmate the shehenshah on time thus proving she is no less and in a way his mirror image only 😎👏👏...

The entire talwaar fight between both somehow made Jalal realise that Jodha is his equal .. she will never bow down to him in fear .. no wonder in precap he is telling Ruqaiyya about his various ideas to break her guroor 😆😆,... I do see a desperate shehenshah here who has no idea how to defeat a woman for the first time 😲😛

4) Jalal's discovery of his fearless Queen Jodha 😳 : For me this entire week was Jalal's discovery about Jodha as a person .. The start was made from last week itself and this week the whole thing kept growing right from the time Jodha won the chess game and refused to wish anything in return from Shehenshah to Jodha gatecrashing the darbar and demanding Motibai's life as farmaan to the sword fight which like I said was battle of equals

Jalal not only discovered the selfless side of Jodha the way she demanded for Moti's life instead of asking anything for herself but he also discovered Jodha as a brave warrior princess during the sword fight where she actually got the better of him in the end 😛... In fact Jodha's words regarding how he only knows to snatch things from people , so he cannot give anything to anyone actually made him restless for whole night because somewhere he does feel Jodha has a point 😛...I felt that night Jalal wakes up from his sleep to do some soul searching and this happened because Jodha's words left an impact 😳

I m sure soon we might see Jodha's discovery of Jalal too once she finds out how Jalal freed that kid's parents to make sure he is not left orphan or when she finds out how Jalal married Salima to make sure her kid gets all the security and she too gets all the respect after Bairam khan's death 😳... I get a feeling Jodha's discovery phase might start from next week 🤔

5) Mahamanga-Ruqaiyya-Adham Khan .. The evil three reverse cupids 😛... : This week also saw the rise of these 3 musketeers 😆 and even though all had their own interests , somehow I felt as if all 3 ganged up against Jodha only to bring her closer to Shehenshah 😛 .. Whether its Adham khan going after Moti 😡 or its Mahamanga giving that poison bottle to Jodha and scaring her or Ruqaiyya-Mahamanga making a pact with each other to keep quiet on Adham-Moti matter 😡 , everything went against Jodha but still everytime she rises up to the occasion only with the help of her self-belief and confidence which leaves Shehenshah totally speechless 👍🏼

I m thinking if this Moti fiasco had not happened then we would not hv seen Jalal-Jodha superb confrontation on the whole farmaan thing either nor we would hv seen Jodha giving it back to Mahamanga in style when she says only dasis need adeshpatra to enter the darbar and not the Queens 😎 .. So somewhere I m liking the evil trio or I should say evil duo now since Adham khan is out of picture for sometime as both Mahamanga and Ruqaiyya with their own insecurities r making sure that Jalal and Jodha keep coming closer to each other 😉😳

6) Heart vs Mind .. Who will win 😎 : In precap Jalal tells Ruqaiyya that he needs to break that pride of Jodha by hook or by crook .. He needs to see whether heart wins or mind 😉... Errr did Jalal really say heart 😲😲 ... Does he really know anything about heart ?? 😲😲😉... So he admits that Jodha takes decisions from heart while he takes decisions from mind 😉 and so he wants to see what wins in the end .. whether his mind games that he might play now to curb Jodha's pride or whether her heart's call which will always give her the indication in advance if Jalal is upto something wicked 😈 ...

It will b really interesting to see this snake and ladder game between both and I m sure Jodha will win it again thus defeating him in his mind games next week 😎.. In the end Jalal will hv to admit that heart's call is always the ultimate 😳

7) Is Ruqaiyya's era coming to an end ?? 🤔 : So Ruqaiyya was distributing jewelleries and dresses to other begums in harem as if she is doing some charity for beggars .. Why did I feel that all those begums looked pissed and felt humiliated the way Ruqaiyya was treating them ... I m sure slowly Ruqaiyya is calling for her own fall and this might b the beginning ot Jodha's rise in that same harem 😳

Jodha might treat all those begums with equal respect and wont go around bossing just because she defeated Ruqaiyya in chess or she made Jalal agree to her conditions before marriage and this quality of Jodha might impress all other women in Harem 😳

8) Will Jalal ever find out the truth ?? 🤔 : Even though Moti bai is saved this week thanks to Jodha's presense of mind but the question remains will Jalal ever find out the truth regarding Adham khan trying to molest Moti and then Mahamanga saving her son by manipulating the whole situation ?? 🤔

I know that if truth comes out then Mahamanga and Ruqaiyya both will b caught and Jalal will give them similar punishment like he gave to Moti and then with no villains , there wont b any spice either 😆 but still I hope next week Jalal at least finds out that Adham Khan was involved in this whole Moti fiasco .. mayb Mahamanga can go scotfree by acting as if she has no idea about her son and even Ruqaiyya can b quiet about it and then Adham khan can b soon disappearing from Mathura too for sometime so that Jalal can find out Moti was innocent and at the same time the villains remain intact too in the game 😎..

9) Shaguna bai's prediction : 🤔 This week Shaguna bai too predicted regarding Jalal-Jodha relationship which is starting to walk now .. it might hv its share of falls in the process of learning to walk but eventually it will start running in the right direction 😎

Shaguna bai's dialogues was mainly the voice of the CVs who r asking the viewers to hv some patience and wait for the real love story of Jalal-Jodha to start 😉😆😛...

10) Regarding Name change news : I think Mansi said it all 👍🏼.. I feel best option is to wipe off both Mughal and Rajput names from the story so that no region or not religion hv any issues .. let Jalal and Jodha b total fictional characters and u can hv multiple people with same names ..so there should not b an issue as long as the terms like Rajput or Mughal is not associated with the names of Jodha and Jalal respectively 🤔

Thats all from me ... I hope next week we see some positive progress in Jalal-Jodha relationship 😳

What a superb take! OMG, OMG, OMG!😳👏😳👏
Waise, I agree with everything you've written, and it is all a beautiful crystallisation of all the 100,000 SMS that fly between us everyday adding to the huge profits of the telecom companies!
Waise Jyoti, I don't know where to start replying your post, because all of it resonates with me completely ... but I have picked one particular sentence that I think we both are ALWAYS of one mind upon:
"Even loved the camera angles which focussed on Jalal's bedroom eyes secretly lusting for Jodha while looking at her lips after putting his sword on her neck and almost standing inches apart from her body ☺️☺️☺️☺️... "
Jyoti, that is so typical of the way we both watch the serial, and it was worth one week of other scenes, na?!

Good post Jyoti ji👏...but one thing wanted to point out is...after Jalal disarmed Jodha and got lost in her eyes...and Jodha grabbed the sword...the sword was not hers, rather it belonged to Jalal himself...

Even in the SBS Segment, there is a scene where Jodha throws the sword back to Jalal and he catches it..
