Be it Jodha requesting 'Shehenshah' Jalal's permission in court before she could talk to her maid...and how Jalal ponders on Jodha's request for a secnd before giving in with a nod

Be it Jodha's turmoil as she discusses the issue with Hameeda Banu...and how the mother claims her son is 'Just', so Jodha must just trust Jalal...

Be it Jalal's unflinching stance all through...especially when he announces the punishment to Mothi!

Be it Ruqaiyya's fear cum hesitation to bring up the matter in the court...it was very evident that she was quite powerless...she could be Jalal's best friend and the most powerful woman in the Mughal kingdom...but still, she is a queen and what she'd done (i.e. hide Adham's presence from the king) was a crime which could have led to punishment...

Be it the Emperor's dark shadow making its way to Mothi's cell during night to discuss the issue for a last time with the defeated Mothi...especially his dialogue about how he'd hate to punish an innocent woman FAR FAR more than he'd hate letting culprits escape...

Be it the montage where Jodha approaches various senior royal ladies in and around the Harem to seek help/assistance/advice...and how she is met with no help anywhere...

Be it Jalal approaching Mothi to give her her aakhri khwaaish - only since she was someone who had arrived from Amer as Jodha's amaanat...others wouldn't even be given this luxury...

Be it MA's cruel act of describing to Jodha how painful & slow-a-death being buried alive was...

Be it Jodha's helpless question to MA 'Why are you troubling us like this'
And then how Jodha's fear transforms to determination after MA leaves...

Very well paced (in fact a bit too fast-paced in some places eg/ the scene that explains how MA had helped her son escape barely lasted less than 10 seconds), but lots of power-packed drama...
For having no AKHDA scene this episode was v good - maybe better than the previous two...if you ask me...😳

True, it was a good episode...the bit where jodha asks shehensha for permission and then gets it...I can't really explain why??? but I liked that scene a lot...the face off between maham and jodha was good too...I am happy...now jodha got first glimpse(that too a good one) of what harem is all about??

Yes...Super Kool... the part when she asks for permission struck me as regal as well...
they are two completely different people in court as opposed to how they are in private...that's what makes both Jodha and Jalal regal...
They never disrespect each other in public and maintain a very aristocratic persona without any extra effort to do so..it just comes naturally to them

(They reserve the disrespect for their private one-on-one time😆)

Very well-paced episode. I wanted the scene where Jodha begs for Moti's life to other people last a little longer. But it was pretty nice, over all. The CVs are getting better since the marriage of Akdha. 😆

Yeah...they are very polite in public..flawless public facade masking private despair...

Nobody can get a sniff that once alone they just can't stop arguing...dagger used, bangle broken and what not...😉
