Jodha keeping Karva Chauth vrath...

So I know this is super lame, but I looked up when it is this year and its on Tuesday October 22... so the guessing game begins. Even if she doesn't want to will she do it for her patidev???

And how will Jalal use this either for her or against her???? Will he show up to break her vrath??? Or will he leave her and then she's going to pass out or something because he didn't ...

oh and its going to be so delightful to see Maham Anga's expressions when all of the Hindu ladies, maids etc...come together to celebrate their Karva Chauth...

I know this is so far in the future, but well it just came ot my mind...

Hey Sonya u know this same thought had crossed my mind before.I was thinking will Jodha keep Karva Chauth and the other hindu rituals that needs Jalal's participation?

😊 you are too funny my dear. Hmmm,,,,I don't know about this one. I think for the sake of everyone in the palace (the Hindu ladies / maids) that she will do it and make big hu ha about it just to get underneath the skin of MA and Ruq's . Because as one of Jalal's wives, this is actually going to a time where its only her doing something for her Patidev...the others will not be participating. so for the sake of more intense JJ scenes I think I'm all for it.

Although on a side note I feel the entire idea and practice of Karva Chauth archaic (not meaning to offend anyone, it just seems very one sided to me in regards to praying for your husbands long life and him being held on this pedestal...but again I'm not of that religion so don't really know the true history behind it, only what I see on TV) BUT since this drama is set in history, I think i'm open for it to happen. I really want to see it actually just for the drama that will surely ensue...

As a hindu wife and one who believes her duties comes first i do believe she will celebrate each ritual.I know the other hindu ladies at the empire will indeed help her.We have seen how they are treated with disdain and forbidden to follow their religion becaz of people like MA and AK.

I do believe people like MA and Rk will try to instigate Jalal's mind against Jodha thinking he wont participate in any Hindu ritual but the shock that they will get is that he will...for Jodha atleast.

When he sees despite her hatred for him the fact that she is performing her duties as his wife he will in time respect her and come to love her.

Praying for the enemy's long life ...well he is Jodha's husband and she knows if she misses any of her religious practices due to that hatred and enmity with him she will not be living up to her position.

I think its going to be a very eventful time. I definitely agree with you that her duties as his wife wil supersede her hatred level, and in this she will uphold the Karva Chauth vrath...another question though...will it be his mother who informs him of Jodha keeping the vrath or will it be one of the villains...

BUT MA's expressions regardless of what happens, are going to be priceless as usual.

I'm thinking maybe they'll be at stage 3 (or was it 4? ha ha) where they like each other but don't want to admit it...so Jodha will do Karva Chauth for him; and he'll want to support her but something will come up and he can't, leading to hurt feelings and more delayed gratification for us viewers. Ha ha. or he'll look in the pan of water again, so will she (to see the moon's reflection) and she'll get his head on her platter once and for all...

😆😆 nice one...I like your humorous take on it. But I don't think in 2 months we are going to be anywhere near stage 3...I mean it took us 8 weeks just to see them for a few minutes in teh same frame together...the CV's are only giving us few bits and bites of the two of them...

So another 8 weeks...we will still be at the revenge stage IMO...UNLESS...Adham attacks Motibai quicker than I think, then possibly Jodha might weaken a bit towards him...just a little though.

But I think what the HIGHLIGHT of this event will be is that all of teh Hindu ladies will be together adn they will be allowed to honour their religion and practices...that is going to be the true strength of showing this in teh show.
