Yes, Mahaam Anga (Ashwini's) expressions are superb. truly one of the finest actors on board JA. I may not like her a sa character, but she truly makes watching Jalaal-MA scenes interesting to watch. :-)

when maham tried to instigate jalal against jodha he said that she dint know that he is marrying her and was just shocked that is why she reacted like that..well its true but had it been anyone else rather than jodha i am sure jalal would have been very offended.

and now tomorrow,it looks like jalal is more eager to meet jodha than jodha herself...another shock for MM...interesting.

it was so romantic the way jalal defended Jodha ... he is so hypnotised by jodha's beauty... just as u said wonder if he wud have been so understanding if it had been anyone other than Jodha...
waiting eagerly to watch tomoro's meeting between the two...

Jalal is somewhere attracted to Jodha and hence wants her more and more.

Sorry guys, I have to disagree. I don't think there was any intention for jalal to defend Jodha. He knew in advance based on his excellent intelligence division, that Jodha had no idea he was her husband to be.

so he is the one that sets up the entire charade of doing the Muh Dikhayi formality and sees Jodha's shocked expression. He is the only one that knows how much she hates him aside from her own family...so of course he's not going to take offense over her leaving. He wants to show her his control over her, but her leaving makes him smile, not be offended because he knows exactly what is going on in her mind, and infact he is happy that he has put her in this turmoil.

So while Maha Manga only sees Jodha's action of running away from him, he knows what is going on in her mind and how much she loathes the idea of marrying him. That is why he tells her that she had no idea about who she was getting married to, and it was only shock that made her react that way.

No defending at all...just pure facts and I will wait to see how Jalal acts in the next few episodes before I think he is in any way defending Jodha...
