So until they give a different set of scenes to this Ruqaiya vis a vis the harem politics and the tender scenes with Jalal, we can't really say...Otherwise I thought she looked pretty today and looks much more believable as a BEGUM than Smiley did...her version of Ruqaiya always looked a bit tacky to me especially costumes wise.

Aur Vamp toh Ruqaiya ne banna hi tha...whoever was expecting OTHERWISE was bound to be disappointed😆

YA I agree Smiley was not exceptional but somehow she did fit all that description of being a common face with a high level of intelligence..Somehow I am not talking about acting of this Girl..I am talking about her face as such..Acting I will have to wait and see..
Tackiness😆😆ki toh had pura show hai Anu..Jodha ka costumes average toh Ruquaiya ka toh average hona hi hai😆😆😆The more I watch the sheer brilliance of MP I get so irritated by the random dress choice..That some pastel dupatta with some red lehenga Rajkumari ji running alone in the jungle..Rqaiya Akbar sitting on the horse alone..Show is full of dumb stuff..
I was getting accustomed to Smiley's earthy looks but this gal's face dosen't suit Ruqaiya's description IMO...Acting wise she was GOOD in that part but I miss Smiley ka face😆😆😆

I like Lavina better then smiley.. The pairing looks good with Rajat.. She looks younger and more mughal like.. Her acting skills are good to. I'm happy😊

LOL Smiley ka face had intelligence, yes but I think it's more the fact that you got used to her...cuz frankly MANY times Smiley's dialogue delivery was toneless...she was giving all the smirky expressions, yes but I wasn't ever really IMPRESSED...I think a shift in tone for Ruqaiya's character was inevitable cuz they have to lay base for Jodha's entry...so already they are setting up clashes b/w the two going by the scenes today and this was a smart point to change the actress as well cuz people can then align the new face with the more negative Ruqaiya too.

Since we've already established the tackiness of the show, let's stop expecting NUANCE either, what say?😛😆...You always had too many hopes from Ruqaiya's character, Piu...but they were doomed, you know that, right?😆

I think Lavina is doing a good job of showing the arrogant begum qualities of Ruqaiya...let's see how she does in scenes where she has to square off with Mahamanga.

Points to ponder 17/07/2013:

1. I love the new actess as Ruqaiya... Shes good... Confirm VAMP😆. Viewers are mentally Prepared (VAMP)...😆

2. Jalal did saw a girl running but why did he stood without doing anything... He could have easily caught her ...😆... N both around the tress 😆...

3. I just cant believe it, Jodha is roaming alone in the jungle 😆

4. Loved sujamal -jodha interactian but acting wise i think it was blank ...... ( Going by the latest promo it seems Jalal saves sujamal from suryaban, hes indeed helping out Jodha 😆 but at the cost of suryaban 😆)

5. I love Paridhi as Jodha but i really hope that she improves. she does not give us feel of a rajkumari...... The new actress replace smilie stood up pretty well carrying herself...👍🏼...

6. Overall I hope the show goes on even there is protest, its a good show. Looking forward to watch it ...😳

... In today epi tht market scene was so stupid... Jalal is still a shahanshah his sultanate is so big, why they to go beyond their border for hunt and how Rajput princess even mere Rajput ladies can roaming around Mughal territory... So stupid scene

And that jungle hunt scene was most irritating scene... Itna time Mae tau deer khud hi bhag jata

N hunt doesn't like that soldiers should be surrounded.

Shahanshah and his queen hunting in jungle almost alone ... Dushman rajkumari roaming in Mughal territory all alone...

Surf 1 Flop Akda scene k lye Itna full of blunders epi 🥱

Rajat's acting tonight. Lovely. And people who have been complaining about Akbar being portrayed as vicious and stuff, should be forced to watch this episode. 😆 While I liked Smilie a lot more, Lavina may be a better actress. And she is not yet a complete vamp, which was obvious from her reluctant decision to let the tirth-fee go for a year. And also, Really enjoyed the interaction between Jalal and BK tonight. This is the first time when we realize how BK loves Jalal in his own way. And is almost proud of Jalal when he takes a decision about him.

Precisely. The setting against the sky, was also beautiful. In one hand, the protesters may be doing the show some good. In order to hasten up the process, Ekta did a commendable job tonight. We would have to sit through unnecessary dragging otherwise. 😊 BK's acting was fantastic as well. I was moved when I saw BK standing with outstretched arms standing in front of Jalal, waiting for his judgement. I loved how he gave himself up to his king without going to war. This, my friends, is love. In a twisted way. But still. ❤️
