Upset Chhavi out of Jjhoom

She went through trying times in the last couple of episodes. The jury especially Mr. Bhatt and Anandji were of the view that she was not putting in her best and that her performance lacked soul. In the previous episode, Mahesh Bhatt, one of the three judges, told her that her knowledge in music is coming in the way of her performances.

Chavvi however disagrees and says, "I have learnt music in my childhood but I quit singing ten years back. It is taking me the same effort to learn what my mentors or teachers are teaching. If I were so familiar, then I should have become a singer."

She adds, "I don't deserve to be evicted. I really feel that the judges came hard on me. They were soft on other contestants but very harsh on me."

Further she claims, "I really don't understand the judges and their comments. What they expected from me was completely different to their aspirations from others. Their comments just gave a reason to the other contestants to vote me out."

She felt that her efforts were going in vain and the judges' comment didn't help her either. Ironically, during the elimination round Mahesh Bhatt, who was very critical of her performance, later told her that his wife and daughter did not appreciate the way he passed comments on her. In fact, Mrs. Bhatt was moved by Chhavi's singing and even voted for her.
On how she got eliminated, she says, "My fellow contestant Varun Badola voted for Shekhar Suman over me and after that Maheshji said that even my worst performance is miles ahead of Shekhar's best. But I really don't know what went wrong."

Before signing off, a disappointed Chavvi tells us, "Judges have never spoken about my range, voice, hard work and improvement but have only pointed fingers at me for not being able to sing soulfully."

Well, Chhavi take it easy. This is not the end of the road!
