No law or government in this entire world validates forced marriage.. they're never considered legal...but still it's shown as pure as ghee while a true real 7-8 relationship is shown fake.. logic dies a painful death in these shows...

I guess Silsila started this trend of glorifying cheaters. Coz I remember fanclubs of Kunal nandini calling them true lovers and expecting Mauli to leave them... And I was like, am I mad or are these people really supporting cheating?🤦

Silsila was synonymous to trauma yaar.. the scene where mauli finds out the truth is itched in my mind. But I don’t think that show glorified cheating. I mean if people can defend and support runak, pariraj and all other couples toh Kunal Nandini kyu nahi coz they did have good chemistry… imo it was one of the few shows which showed the consequences of cheating beautifully.. everyone faced their karma.. and it showed that if you’re wronged by someone, you will find someone way better than him and the best part was mauli choosing Ishaan over Kunal..

Does Leena have the guts to show something similar like arshi finding someone way better than ani and actually moving on with him. No. Coz one this show isn’t about Arshi, it’s about jhanak, whose equivalent to Nandini.. there she died for cheating her best friend got her karma but yaha jhanak is hailed.. and two jab kachra writing se trp aa rahi hai so why show sensible stuff… mujhe lagta hai hum hi pagal hai jo nonsense mein sense dunde ki khoshish kar rahe hai..

I have made an edit on this line🙈.. do check it.. and I agree yaar maybe that's one of the reasons I can't with runak.. I mean I have parallel lead syndrome par I usually like lead pairs.. yeh pehla show hai where I can't connect with them..

And I don’t know about regional shows but I feel itv mein imlie started the trend of forced marriage and glorifying cheating. Never watched the show, just seen clips.. there also Malini and ml I guess Aditya were in a relationship for several years and pl was sweet like arshi but imlie comes and does kabada.. same old crap in every show, bechari Alba naari dukho ki maari who says she won’t break a relationship a thousand times but does the exact opposite and still plays the victim card🤦‍♀️..
