Nah, I don't think so. It was probably just for promotional purposes only. Horror act is not actually easy. But it's versatile. Like,you can do contemporary on it , or tangp/paso/jazz. I've seen that in DWTS. Because it could be interpreted as a thriller act, so doesn't necessarily have to be about ghosts or ghouls.

EDIT :

In fact, my fav DWTS choreo once did a Viennese waltz on a thriller piece. Believe it or not!
