Vivian defo has a lot of fans but his charge too is high probably as I remember from Madhubala he had a high salary.

Ria, absolutely agree with your points, except about performance.

Performance doesn't actually matter (except as an excuse) in voting-format reality-shows. If a celeb can stand without dancing but gets enough votes stacked, it's worth it.

The channel was straightforward about Irfan opting out.

They should have been equally straightforward about VD not continuing, with whatever reason would look good for everyone.
But claiming he got less votes in this context is simply silly.

If it's said that VD or Sanaya got less votes than the other contestants, then we should understand just how stupid all voting fans are assumed to be.
