I still remember and am sooo fond of watching Shveta dance... The completion was so much cleaner and more fun... Now the production houses have to butt in everything...
I also remember the first season probably had a drawing done for the choreographers and te celebrities, now the they pair up the celebity with who the channel wants to...

JDJ was much better on Sony and even TRPs Proved it . Sony dint even favour its own actor (eg. Daya ) when it was with talent . And At The End The MOST DESERVING NOT MOST POPULAR WON THE SHOW .
Sony did a mistake of letting go of JDJ and Colors bought it and ruined it .

I think Sony also played games with 4th season of Jhalak. Sushant Singh deserved to win the show but Chang won it. Sushant got so many standing ovations and most of his performances got 10 out of 10 and then bang... chang won the competition. Chang was part of Indian Idol as a host and contestant.
