An Ode to Bindi

There are several threads here dedicated to the celebrities, and just a few scattered ones for the choreographers. I wanted to start one to appreciate the choreographer who has really won me over this season of Jhalak, and that is Bindi Khare.

A large part definitely depends on the celebrities. Without their ability or willingness to dance, there would be no performances. I truly adore some of the celebrities putting in their best effort to dance and entertain us. However, I feel that in the focus on the glamor we forget the choreographers. When it comes to dancing they truly are the stars. Without their knowledge, patience and training the celebrities would not be able to dance for us.

While a lot of fuss has been made about Toby in the past, my favorite choreographer is Bindi. While I believe Sandhya and Prachi are better dancers than Jay, I really want Jay and Bindi to win because of their combined teamwork.

First and foremost Bindi is as cute as a button, she has a very charming smile and can make adorable expressions. Her dancing is definitely divine, some of the moves she has are absolutely breathtaking. I often sit and wonder, does this woman have bones and joints in her body, how does she command them to move as she wills.

Most importantly I admire her creativity. I think she has worked and gelled well most with her celebrity partner Jay, bringing out his natural talents and creativity. The items and choreography are customized to suit Jay and his personality. There is always a creative theme involved, usage of props and some innovative choreography. Unlike other choreographers she knows when to downplay herself so that the celebrity can shine, yet she does it without diminishing her dancing. Like in the recent 'pant bhi sexy' , she lets the focus be completely on Jay and his actions, and she is there dancing along perfectly complementing and being stunning as usual.

To me Bindi is the best.

Oh yeah I hv always maintained that Bindi is the best Choreographer in JDJ 👏 👏 ...And in the beginning Jay was pretty ordinary in his dancing but it was Bindi because of whom today he has shown such a remarkable improvement 😳

Bindi has got a great figure and her swift feet movement and those hip shakes r just excellent to watch 😳

Bindi has been a very innovative choreographer as far as concepts go. Probably the most in that regard. You are absolutely right though that Bindi has moulded Jay into a good dancer. To look from where he started to what he has reached now in terms of skill is amazing. Full credit to Bindi, there. 👏

Even I love Bindi. She is like a doll. But IMO, JDJ is a combined effort. I remember last time Bindi was paird with Akash Sehgal and she had similar experience which Mika Singh's choreographer had. She just could not do anything.

Last season Sonia Jaffar was my favorite. This time it is Bindi but I also like Deepak but I really hate Prachi (I hate her even more after her wild card entry which was so unfair). Also Sandhya gets all the credit but Jaaved is doing pretty good job. And so is Marrischa (Mr. Negi's choreographer).

bindi and javed ..both r the best choreographers of JDJ2...luv both of them 😊

I ThNK jay and bindi made the best pair in boys nt hs why they came soo far remember how bindi was wth aakash last year n they out i guess at 6 or 7 position

i always have been liked bindi. last year she and akash voted out so early because of only akash who cudnt dance at all and she didnt get enough chance to show her talent. however, she was one of the best dancers last year(after sonia zafar). this year definitely she is the best choreographer in jhalak. she is just like a doll......i donno how old is she but looks like 16 or 17.

She is my favorite choreo as well.
