Its not necessary that everyone has to fall in your category as there is no rule as such in this universe. If u really respect the art so you would not be the first person to even come up with such cheap thinking as you could/would only see art in others irrespective of the person whether they are educated or not. This by itself must be an answer for you as comparison never comes to them other than identifying talents in others and bringing it out. Also there is a big difference between Arts as an hobby and Arts as an career.Hope this is clear.
if you think that encouraging everyone to finish school is cheap thinking then i dont know how to help you there.
in indian idol season 1, there was an amazing singer named Priyanka Venkateshwar (not sure abt spelling). she could have gone really far but she decided to leave the contest to continue her studies. after she completed her studies, she got acting offers. now that's someone who i really respect.😃
and to make things clear, i do think that prachi's a good actress and she's improved alot in dancing too. but i dont think it was right for her at all to neglect her studies to act in a pathetic balaji serial. in my opinion, she could have waited a few years and while in grade 12 she should have only concentrated on her studies.
