The value of 10...year right.

After watching yday episode, and seeing sandhya dance to mehboob mere and namak i have to say i was impressed with her dance skills....although im not a huge sandhya fan there is no denying that girl can dance and shake it well.

but what really erks me is the fact that prachi whos second dance also got a 10, which included her facial expressions and moves and sandhya whos facial expressions were hideous in mehboob mere still gets a 10.

there is little value of 10, i have watched dancing with the stars many times and they count everything and give a 10, so what is the value if someone like prachi's facial expressions get included in the mark and sandhya's facial expressions get exempt from the mark?

Over all, its an indian show and its not purely on dancing and judges get mad favortism, unlike dancing with the stars which was judged purely on dance to the T and every move, expression...thats the only thing i hate about indian competitions...too much favourtism, and the over dramatic emotions

It's really difficult to say whether judges in North American/European shows do not have favoritism. However, I do agree that they do look at the technical parts of dancing a lot more than the Indian judges do. Shiamak used to do that but even, he has stopped lately. They just hand out tens like it's no big deal. Since the competition has become so tight, I think the judges need to start being harder on the contestants and look at every component of their performance.

i agree, but yes i think the favourtism is much more dominant and can be pointed out easier.

I think in India whether its Nach Baliye or JDJ,judges easily give 10 to the contestents 😛..mayb because we hv more of an emotional mentality 😉 ...I was surprised to see almost everyone getting full scores in this week's episode 😕

judges give way too many 10's in the show there's like no sense of surprise or excitement when it comes to receiving full marks from judges even if its not fully deserved sometimes im left astounished when some people receive full 30 marks i seriosuly think to myself OMG r dey watching the same dance im watching 😕

I mean OMG look at SCD its in its 11th week n still noboby has received full marks, joint leaders r alesha & gethin with 39/40, SCD judges are experienced judges all excelling in their respective fields of dancing and choreography will always judge on technique, style, expressions, chemistry, improvement & effort and then give marks based on overall performance and about favourtism well it happens in all shows even in SCD i mean its obvious that kelly was one of their favs coz shes good @ballroom but even when her routine had 1 lift too many some judges cut marks despite being their favourite
whereas in JDJ they are very lenient towards the contestants and really all of the past rounds have been nothing but bollywood rounds 😕 😕 😕

i feel judges marking criteria nowadays is based more on entertainment value rather than technique for most contestants 😕 well i don't blame them because they'r damned if they do and damned if they don't

and about sandhya yes she is an excellent dancer the best in JDJ n yes even i admit she is also an aggressive dancer which is maybe why her facial expressions are also quite aggressive but nonetheless overall performance is xcellent and also i did not enjoy prachi's performances much this week nor her facial expressions, prachi is a good dancer but sandhya is better now that doesnt mean i hate prachi coz i don't 😆
