Why Ronit lost out

Over the weekend, there was another shock exit from Sony's show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa —- Ronit Roy. The small screen's Mr Bajaj himself was taken aback when his name was announced but wants to thank his fans for voting for him all this while. In an SMS he says, "Thanks for all your love and support. It's been fun and a good journey for me and I hope I managed to entertain all of you."
Incidentally, the previous week Jhalak had a surprise visitor – Akashdeep Saigal. He came to lend support to Ronit and make an appeal to all his fans to vote for Ronit. Result? Ronit lost. As one insider says, "It was natural. Akashdeep has no fans! So who on earth would have voted for Ronit then!" Moral of the story: Invite guys who actually have fans in the first place.
