Throwing his wait around?

Mika kept everybody waiting for almost four hours for shooting Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2's first episode

More often than not, Mika has been in the news for wrong reasons. The latest on Daler Mehendi's brother is that he is giving a tough time to Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 2's team. The show went on-air this Friday.Mika has been constantly reporting late - be it for the rehearsals or for the actual shooting. On Wednesday, the singer turned up four hours late for shooting the show's first episode.

A source from the set, on condition of anonymity, says, "The shoot was scheduled for 9 a.m. but it started only at 1 p.m. The delay was due to Mika who arrived late. All the other contestants had arrived an hour before the scheduled time. Sony's staff was continuously calling him, but the calls went unanswered. There was no option but to wait for Mika. When he finally arrived, everyone heaved a sigh of relief."

On arriving late, Mika told the organisers that he was stuck in a traffic jam due to the Indian cricketers' homecoming after the Twenty20 final.

The source adds, "Everybody on the set arrived on time despite the chaos. No doubt there were traffic jams on the way but not to an extent which will delay a person by four hours. Mika should have started early to reach on time."

It's also heard that Mika has been throwing a lot of attitude on the JDJ 2 set. "One can understand a bit of arrogance if it happens once in a while, but with Mika it is very often," says the source.

Last year when Mika forcibly kissed item-girl Rakhi Sawant at his birthday party even his brother Daler had sided Rakhi. When asked for his reaction to the incident, Daler had said, "Party kissing is not Indian culture. Rather, it is an unwelcome intrusion into somebody's personal life."

Mika was unavailable for comment. We also sent him a SMS, to which he did not reply.
