If it's Cyrus Broacha you are talking to, don't expect to get a single straight answer. This funny man doesn't believe in getting serious at all.
But that's what sets him apart from others who take themselves a bit too seriously. This bawa has you in splits within a few minutes. So, here are some whacky answers that he came up with when we asked him about wearing his dancing shoes for Sony's Jhalak Dikkhla Ja .
From being a VJ to dancing. Why this diversion?
That's because my family doesn't want me in the house so they have forced me to take part in this dance competition!
My only aim right now is to get through the first round and not be the first one to be kicked out. Actually I hate dancing and the clothes that I am made to wear make me look like a bird.
Whom do you consider serious competition?
I am the worst! They think I am the idiot in the group. But I am sure I'll beat them all. In fact, Ronit, Aadesh and the other guys try to trip me when I am dancing. I am sure they consider me a threat!
Do you plan to continue dancing after this?
No way! I am only doing this because I need to make more money. If someone can please tell my boss to give me a pay hike, I won't have to put myself through this torture.
But no I don't want to dance after this. In fact Shiamak Davar doesn't want me to be in the same city as him. My partner can handle me only because she is a dog trainer and she whacks me with a newspaper everytime I don't do well. In fact now I am scared of newspapers!
With your brilliant sense of humour, do you plan to make a comedy film someday?
In fact, my friend Kunal Vijaykar and I have made a two minute film, but no one's willing to buy it!
Who do you consider to be good dancers among the present 12 competitors?
I think Sandhya Mridul is quite good. I am not going to talk about the guys at all.
