As the audience awaits the celebrity dance show 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa' (Sony) to return in its second season, we give a peek into what will unravel in tonight's debut episode. The show was packed with dance and fun but it was also loaded with funny moments.
Last season's winner Mona Singh, who is hosting the current season with Rohit Roy, was merrily shooting when she realised that one of her earrings was missing.
What followed were moments of confusion with the whole unit looking for that lost earpiece. And when she did finally get her earring, she continued shooting without retaking the earlier shots. Probability is that you may find her with only one earring on for a few seconds.
Judge Shiamak Davar's Hindi was something that stunned people on the sets. Shiamak got a little nervous when he realised that he had to speak only in the national language. And when co-judge Jeetendra offered to help him, Shiamak regained all his lost memory of Hindi and started spewing words like 'ascharyachakit' and 'prafullit'!
It was also nice to see friends of contestants cheering them. Maria Goretti Warsi came to cheer her best friend Mini Mathur and so did the latter's hubby and director Kabir Khan.
Keeping Maria company was Suchitra Pillai who had come to cheer buddy Sandhya Mridul. The 'Chak De India' girls were there in full force to support their coach Mir Ranjan Negi. Son Tusshar Kapoor lent emotional support to father Jeetendra. He introduced his dad saying, "Let me present to you the man, whose dance we all grew up watching."
