YESSS!!! omg.. i'm so happy chang won!!! i was all for sushant before... but i felt it was a little unfair that he got to top 3 after not performing... no offense to any1... he's a phenominal dancer but i feel like it was well deserved by chang... i wouldn't like it if yana won either because despite the fact that she's a good dancer, she already got out once and was in the bottom 2 quite a few times.. but i'm really happy that Chang won... well deserved!!!
* don't throw chappals at me sushant/ yana fans *

Just to remind you, Chang is from Dhanbad Jharkhand and not from NE. He is an Indian of Chinese origin.

Meiyang Chang was crowned the winner of the fifth season of the celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa last night. He and his choreographer won a cash prize of rupees 25 lakhs each. Arguably, one of the most talented contestants, Sushant Singh Rajput, won the Most Spotless Performance Jodi award and walked away with an amount of rupees five lakhs. He couldn't lift the winner's trophy despite being the strongest contestant and one of the most popular actors on TV today.

Days before the final, the TV industry was abuzz with the rumours that Chang would emerge victorious as he is the face of the channel since he participated in their music reality show, Indian Idol 3. With the latest victory, it's evident that at the end of the day
Sony lauds its own babies against better dancers and that favouritism wins over talent. During the inaugural season too, Mona Singh (Sony's child) defeated a far more talented Shveta Salve. And so we can say that history has repeated itself.

👎🏼Wow TOI, this is what you call responsible journalism? Projecting your personal biases in supposedly objective articles??

If Sony always supported its own proteges, Mini Mathur would have won season 2.😛

Wow I never knew that we have to hide our face after saying the truth 😆 I thought people who bitched behind backs should be doing it 😕
OMG Haaaawww look I said the truth should I wear a mask or something now to hide my face? 😲

I know right...I think all of us need to hide from the world then😲

anyways forgot to say this but congrats to Chang...I was rooting for Sushant and Chang (more for Sushant) but I'm glad Chang won👍🏼

however after this crap of a season I will never be watching JDJ...I enjoyed the initial episodes bc of my faves Ragini,Sushant and Ankita...and also Madhuri

but thanks to this forum, and the dear aunty and the scripted crap this show spewed out..I am forever turned off reality shows...🤢

Good job Chang....hats off to this guy...he beat all the odds and turned up as the victor of the show....I didn't follow JDJ, but I did watch the finale(for Daya😉). By Jove, I still remember his 1st performance and how er, bad(for lack of a better term) it was. Now he dances very fluently, and dances almost like a, if not, a thorough professional. Hats off Chang, always supported you in II too! 👏👏👏

This means that all the stories about the winner already been selected were true . Why take Sushant and Yana in he first place when it was already decided .

Why is everyone still doubtful ?

........ The thread starter was there at the shoot ..... and they have attached a photo as proof ...... what more could we ask for ........

Funnyguy, thanks for the news ......... My favourite were sushant and his partner ...... but i feel the performances at the beginning of the show were much better than those towards the end ............

well since multiple sources (eevn the reputable ones) started saying sony wnated a "non-dancer" to win.. i was expecting chang to win...

well, we dont know if chang won by votes or rigging.. but congrats to them. chang is a sweetheart..

but i feel bad for sushant (and yana as weell) all of his hardwork and despite his back injury gave a fab. performances.
in terms o dancing, nobody can match sushant. he created history on the show with so many perfect performances. for many seasons to come, people will want to match up to sushant.. and thats the biggest compliment for him...
