his chau performance is one fine example of how much different and new dese two want to do always on the stage...

only? now that's stretching it a bit too far. they are versatile. but are they the only ones? hardly.

Sushant Rocks,

I dont care if Sony want to give the trophy away to some non dancer, but real winner will always remain Sushant.

besides his first and last, for all other performances he got POTD

Waise I think next year, Sony should change the name of JDJ to DanceImprovement Dikhlaja, infact they should change the stage into a classroom for nondancers, and teach them all... waise bhi thats what they want, non dancer winner, then why the heck wouuld you take dancer to begin with, you idiots..

grr... whatever SUSHANT Rocks!!!!!

RT @neeraja7s: @Actor_Siddharth This isn't a charity show!! No sympathy for injuries and the incabalities!! I say VOTE for SUSHANT for his versatility :)

oh??? then how come he got a 27 or whatever today, while the other two got 29? so yea. the fact that his performance is always the best is ur opinion. so you should state as that. not as a fact. cuz it isn't a fact.

I feel that Sush-Shampa bring out the most versatility in their dances. They always think out of the box. They have done so many beautiful dances. ❤️

Yana mostly does contemporary with lifts...mostly romantic stuff!.

Chang, I feel does more of the energetic dances, and less of the romantic ones. But he has some variety too. :)

Oh please, it was soo obvious today that they all were just overpraising Chang so that they could justify his rigged victory tommorow. 🥱

oh really? the judges marks are scripted? oh then all those 30s sushant got must also be scripted! got it!👍🏼

@red: hmm personal attack. nice! i don't believe in calling names. then there would be no difference between u and i. 😊

@blue: oh okay! so they rigging the show to make chang win. alright. then that also should mean that everything else in the show was rigged too. like sushant staying despite his injury. ankita coming back in place of krushna on a second wild card entry. yep! everything was rigged. and here i was thinking that sushant deserved those praises he got. i guess that was scripted too!😛

Wow, some healthy convo going on here.
I don't know why, but inspite of him attempting different forms, I find he does it all the same way. Also if he attempts something energetic, he puts in too much effort (stops harder, flays his arms harder etc.) which makes it look more like an effort and less like a dance.
I know many like him and his dancing, but for me, when he dances, it's like the right time to take a loo/coffee break.
On the other hand, I do agree that Shampa is an A-One dancer. She's really fab. But I still think Sushant is overrated and that he's not as wonderful (as a dancer) as he's made out to be.

Well, I disagree with you completely. I usually find Sushant's performances the MOST INTERESTING out of everyone else's in the show. There's usually a nice concept, there's depth, there are always good expressions and the lyrics are always brought out beautifully in the song. Dance is not just about body movements or steps, it is actually when you bring out the energy, the feel and the mood along with the situation in the form of moves which are eye-pleasing and couple it with suitable expressions--- without these, the dance ends up looking like acrobatics with a song playing in the background, even if the steps are very new or innovative.

And this thing I have seen consistently ONLY in Sushant's performance. I saw it in Krushna's performance too, when he was on the show briefly. I see it in Chang's too, but not all the time.

EDit ADD:::

and prey why does everyone keep saying that Sushant has done same same dance forms only???- he has done a lot I think--- Jazz, Salsa, Chhau, L n P, Flamenco, Contemporary, Hip hop, Lyrical hip-hop, Bollywood, Aerial act, Samba, Disco, Chinese Dai and Yi (two dance forms) and also Martial arts.... that's quite a lot I think. I doubt others have done this much also, cos he chose special forms even in episodes where special forms were not required, like in the Colours theme when he did Flamenco, and in the Valentine Day act when he did Lyrical Hip hop (Rehna Tu). Others had not chosen any special forms on these episodes.

Agreeeee completely! :D 🤗 😆 I'm finding it hilarious that people find Sushant of all people boring? 😕😆 Well, each to his own then...😛

In my opinion, this guy brings SO much energy, PERSONALITY, and SOUL to his performances! If people can't appreciate that, then that's too bad really. But I think what really made me fall for Sushant as a dancer was the personality he brings on stage! It's a totally different kind of stage presence and charisma! That kind of confidence is unmatchable I think from any other contestant! Like even in that dhoom taana performance...where the steps were pretty classic bollyowood...nothing really extraordinary you know? Even there he took the performance to another level with his energy and personality.

And like you said Niki, what I love is the DEPTH this guy (also Shampa) brings to his performances! That's what makes him stand out to me. His creativity and honesty with which he performs can be seen on stage. You know it's one thing to just rehearse the moves and perform them on stage...it's another thing to give them a personality of your own. It's another thing, to express your dancing with honesty. Like whatever is in your soul...whatever the music makes you feel is apparent in your expressions and dancing. THAT'S dancing with honesty! Then you're not just showing off your moves, you're really FEELING them as you perform. That's the difference I think!

I think Sushant and Shampa really show us the ART that is dance. It transcends beyond the movements. Like Madhuri...or Mallaika (can't remember who) said once, their dances take you into another world altogether. That's beauty and art right there! :) Again like Madhuri also mentioned in yesterday's episode, "Jab Sushant dance karte hain, toh har performance AATMA se aati hai unke" 😍 That's EXACTLY how I feel about Sushant! I'm so glad Madhuri also saw this quality. I think it's the most beautiful and important quality to have in a dancer...or any kind of an artist really. 😍

I agree with you. Even I dont enjoy much of his performances bcz he is too stiff with his body and his expressions are also hard. Even Yana and Salman are boring a lot of times with their different lifts, I would say there is just 20% dance and 80% lifts, but I like Shampa and Marischa. Shampa is really a great dancer and I think Marischa has always given Chang nice dance and variety. I loved their Tamma Tamma performance.
