Taran Kaur Dhillon aka Hard Kaur is UK's first Asian rapper who has successfully moved from Manchester to Mumbai. Beginning with 'Johnny Gaddar' to 'Ugly Aur Pagli' to 'Singh is King', 'Kismat Konnection','Bachna Ae Haseeno', 'Jai Aur Veeru' and now to 'Jhalak Dikha Ja'. Shealso bagged 'Ajab Prem ki Gajab Kahani' besides a Yash Raj banner movie. When asked about her name affixed with the word "Hard' she says, " Those boys who initially made fun of me later commented that my name should be Hard Kaur!" She is clear in her mind that had she been living in India, she wouldn't have been Hard Kaur but a house wife handling four kids.

In India, there are false religious issues, whichdo come in the way of success, she adds. Hard Kaur is hard indeed asshe boldly claims that the casting couch guys dare not come close toher. In spite of her long hours of practice, she feels that 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja' has set high standards that are really difficult to meet.However, she can shake her leg in clubs and parties even though shehas no training. She is quite confident that nobody could think ofbeating her in 'Jhalak Dikha Ja'!

Thanxx nice article! love HK she is awesome and to good and so sweet and cute lol she is an amazing and awesome dancer i agree i dont think there are someone really who can beat her maybe Gauhar is the only one lol! i cant wait to hear her song from the movie Ajab Prem Ki Khazab Kahani i am sure its good and cant wiat for her upcoming performance lol!

Dance wise she is one of the best... but as we have established time after time on this forum, dancing is just half of the deal - the other half is popularity!

She's doing great... but it's tough to imagine her ever getting more votes than Parul or Karan Bhai 😳
