Oh, I didn't know that. I thought JDJ was BBC productions' Indian version of Dancing with the Stars, which doesn't have the "face-off" format. My bad.

This like Prachi vs Sandhya all over again.

I dont think Parul fans should be upset. She's going to get out but she'll come back and her spot in the finals will be GUARANTEED.

But I don't understand why the format of "face-off" was included in this season in the first place! Whoever has the least combination of votes and marks should go out. The format used to be as simple as that. Why give judges the last option of even eliminating the second last?

To me, it just looks like judges having more veto power on getting rid of the second last as well and saving their favorite. (and considering how "reasonable" our judges' comments and marks has been this season; I am not too sure if giving them more power is altogether a good idea!)

There are two aspects to it -

1) because it is a dance (competition) show and 2 of the 3 judges are renowned choreographers of India, they will definitely have better judgment of dance skills compared to the public who generally votes based on personal liking/favoritism (which includes so many other qualities but dance skills)

2) another aspect is that it is not the judges who have the power at the end to save a particular contestant through means of 'dance face-off', it is the channel who wants to reserve its right to save the person who might be better for the TRPs of the show!! I am sure many things are fixed and pre-decided.....some even before the show takes off...

To the topic, I would say both Parul and Gauhar are talented dancers, it will be disheartening to see any one of them leave so soon in the game!

Also I would like to add my personal view about elimination of bigger personalities from the show - IMO although it is known that X celebrity has to leave but just to make it sound easy on them - they pretend to goof-up or something or try to make a sacrifice or something - this glorifies their image as well as satisfies their ego that might get hurt due to elimination against lesser-known-not-so-popular-but-talented person!!

parul's limbing is obvious in her serial too.. she is not 100% fit.. even if she come to the dance off.. i am not sure about her winning..

I feel quite bad for people who participate from outside television kingdom, i mean someone is not doing saas bahu lead role. last time sweta was best but mona won and later prachi. i don't won't the same thing this time. people need to be fair in voting and they shouldn't mix character from soap with dancing talent. so, my vote goes to gauhar.

Coz she is the best.
