Guys, he is a national footballer who is the pride of India; the dates of matches cannot be adjusted; as much as we love the saas-bahu dramas, shooting days can be changed around to meet the actors' schedule. And he is not making an excuse based on health--he needs to play in a match who date is set by a federation. Actors and actresses pick their schedules, so they shouldn't be complaining, regardless of injuries.

BAICHUNG ROCKS! Only contestant who doesn't do any drama (obviously, this is because he can't act...LOL), and is there solely because of his dancing skills (which are improving so rapidly that I think he might have a chance to win this year's dancing champion title).

Tricky time for JDJ 3 contestants!

This week's episode of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 (Sony TV, Fri-Sat at 9pm) poses even more hurdles for its contestants. They were given tough props of blindfolds and elastic bands to incorporate into their performances.

While some participants amazed, others weren't so lucky on the dance floor. A source from the sets says, "The first contestant who really struggled with the bands was Parul, who is partnered with choreographer Deepak. Parul fumbled with the bands which was visible to the judges. She ended up being the lowest scorer, with 19 points."
Monica Bedi and Baichung Bhutia were the best. The source says, "The way Javed lifted Monica was great. The judges gave him a standing ovation. Monica scored 30. It was also surprising the way Baichung performed blindfolded. Nobody expected him to do such a wonderful samba. He too scored the highest marks and was praised tremendously by the judges."

Meanwhile, Karan's salsa performance was stunning. "He and his choreographer Nicole were both blindfolded but the judges felt that Nicole could see through her blindfold and hence cheated. Nicole tried to explain that she adjusted her blindfold because her lashes were hurting and Karan was ready performed again but the judges reduced their marks anyway," says the source.

Gauhar's luck with choreographers doesn't seem to be good. Her previous choreographer Hanif opted out of the show because he was injured and her new choreographer Himanshu had an accident before their performance and got six stitches on his left knee. The source says, "Even so, he still performed with the Gauhar and was praised for his good effort. Shilpa Shukla and Hard Kaur also performed well."

Next week's episode of Jhalak will feature a wildcard entrant.

11 April 2009: Now Jhalak has the best of 7 celebs remaining. Whoever goes out of the show at this stage is going to be a big blow. From now on every week, it is going to be the survival of the best. There is no scope for the slightest slip. The judges are watching with a hawk's eye and the audience is voting for the best.

10 April 2009: As each week passes, the competition on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa gets tougher and tougher. This week the celebs need to dance with props like blindfold and elastic bands. While Hard Kaur, Baichung, Karan perform their act blindfolded; Monica, Shilpa, Gauhar dance with the elastic bands.

Himanshu performs with an injury for Gauhar

Himanshu Gadani, Gauhar Khan's new choreographer on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 3 (Sony TV), will be seen performing with Gauhar with his injured leg on tomorrow's episode. Coincidently, Hanif Hilal, Gauhar's original choreographer, had to opt out of the show due to injury as well.

Himanshu tells us about his painful predicament, saying, "I injured myself on April 3. I was riding my bike and a car ahead of me suddenly stopped. I couldn't control my bike and hit it very hard. That's how my right knee got badly injured. This happened in the morning at the new flyover near the Domestic airport."

Immediately after this mishap, he rushed to hospital to see a doctor. He says, "I went to the doctor and he told me that there was a minor injury. I had to even get stitches but I am much better now and have been able to rehearse too."

Despite the doctor telling him to rest his leg, Himanshu had no choice but to perform. He says, "The doctor gave me certain antibiotics and strong medicines and has also told me to take rest but then, that's not possible. I have been told not to overexert my knee but I have no option."

Himanshu initially planned for his friend to perform in his place. He says, "One of my friends came to see me when I met with this accident. Suddenly, the idea crossed my mind that he should perform and he agreed to it. He even started rehearsing but later I realised that the chemistry was missing so I decided to do it myself. I cut out some of the lifts because they were not possible for me. Luckily, the judges liked it. I checked my knee after the performances and was happy to see that all my stitches were intact and fine."

Talking about his coordination with Gauhar, he says, "Gauhar is a very fast learner; she absorbs things fast. She is a very genuine girl and never interferes with my choreography. We have fun when we dance. I am very impressed with her."

Gauhar too feels the same way about Himanshu, saying, "Our coordination is superb and fantastic! I am on top of the world. His injury didn't affect his performances in anyway. He's just the best and has the capability to bring out the best in a person."

The duo will be seen performing on Bahon Ke Darmiyan from Khamoshi this week on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa which airs every Friday and Saturday at 9pm on Sony TV.

why the judges always have to make deal out of karan's performance??? i really dont get it?? why the hell they always thing n will somehow make sth that theres a serious prob........ this is the limitttttttttttttt............
