Apu Movies

Is it just me or have a lot of Apu movies been on TV lately?

Recently I've seen Pardes, Lakeer, and just today I saw Pyar Koi Khel Nahin...

Its actually been quite a treat! Pardes was good...don't really care much for the others, but its nice to just sit and drool over Apu...he was looking cho sweet/cute in Pyar Koi Khel Nahin...esp. during the two songs - "Yaad Piya Ki' and "Kuch Tumhare Hai"...😳

Also, I haven't seen Lakeer, but dad was watching the other day, and I caught the drunk scene that Apu does towards the end - don't really know the story there, but right before John Abraham holds him at gun point - I think Apu did a really good job in that scene...👏

Its always so nice to catch a glimpse of Apu - esp b/c I haven't seen any of his movies other than Pardes...anyway, just noticed, so I thought I'd post...

^ He looks scary in Lakeer, i haven't seen the film, but that look does NOT suit him! 😆
I liked him in Pardes, and Pyaar Koi Khel Nahie was good, I don't remember what its about anymore though. Something about Sunny "dying" and then later he comes back or something? 😕

I know!!! Wasn't he SO cute?!?! I didn't watch the whole thing - caught it about 30 mins in and then only watched until Apu's car blew up....

I loved him in the Kuch Tumhare Hai song...I didn't know this movie even existed or that he was in it! I just happened to stumble upon it today - happened to see a flash of whom I thought was Apu, right before the scene changed, and so I stuck it out until I could confirm that my eyes hadn't betrayed me, and it was SUCH a treat!!!! Hai, my shonu!!!! 😳 And if looks could kill...that black shirt during the "yaad piya ki" song....uff...😳...it was such a pleasant surprise today!!! 😍

...but when did Apu have a baby in his arms? Did I miss something? 😕

Payal he was too good in Pyaar Koi khel nahin 😳 ...In fact I thought he was in par with Sunny deol 😳 especially in the climax 😛

And he was also very good in the film Kasoor as the lawyer 😳 ..there was a song in the film "Badi udhaas hai yeh Zindagi,koi toh saathi chahiye" 😳 ..he was too good in that song 😳

@Payal: in the film Apu(Suneel) was always hesitating to touch the baby, though it was his own blood but he felt his brother had the rights only.. so Sunny deol pinches the baby and then hides ebhind the curtains.. on hearing the baby cry apu runs towards the room and hugs it tight for the first tim 😳 .. awwww my dil just went out to him.. i always wanted him to do a similar scene.. but unfortunately it never happened

Ok...I havent see pyar koi khel naiin......zindagi koi mazzak nahin...tere acting koi fluke nahin..Anu teri deewani nahiin..Payal teri parawani nahiin...Aur sharmii bhi paagal nahiin... 😛 😛

sharmii u shud watch it..the story is bhangar.. but his acting was tooo goodd ..aur dance ke kya kehne😳 😳

I liked him in Pyaar Koi..., the movie wasn't that bad either. In fact I liked him better there than in Pardes.

But performance-wise, his best movie was Kasoor, although he had zero chemistry with Lisa Ray. Actually I was too busy drolling over Aftab 😳 to notice Apu at the time, but now when I watch, he did a good job. 😊

Apu worked in a Kasoor also
