As for Purab coming back, the only possible way that he would come back (and this is only speculation on my part) is to aid Jassi and Armaan to come together. Because the way the current track is going (following BLF), there is basically no room for him on the show. But from his message and from what I've heard, I really really doubt he wants to come back.

honestly ...i hope not...i am a diehard purab fan...but his reentry at this juncture will serve no one. the story is already on the verge of a complete meltdown.....purab's entry will make it a complete mess.

also it will be a big setback for all the actor's career and character's credibility.(even samir soni won't benefit from it in long term). i think it is time that directors take a measure of the story than the trps(which i hear are not too bad). that is assuming they are considering bringing purab back.
