Agreed Armaan wasn't all goodie goodie like Purab, but he wasn't a bad person either! and love just happens without a reason, one fine day for no reason suddenly your heart starts beating for someone, you start day draming about them! that's exactly what happened to Jassi! this story from the very beggining was Armaan-Jasi's I have no clue where did Purab fit in? Armaan was the first guy that loved her for whatever she was, Purab came in too late, and agreed Jassi didn't see Purab moe than anything as a friend, but I must say Purab also acted very maturely and less charmingly and acted just like a dopey friend! I dun get it where does Purab fit in? it was always jassi-armaan love story! plus saints like jassi fall in love with realistic and a bit of immature people like Armaan because they are opposites and that's why they get attracted, and people like Armaan Suri get attracted to girls like Jassi because they just love the simplicity, the values instilled on them, and they just love their unconditional love and support! and its no that Jassi has always blindly followed Armaan sir, she has fought back many times and sometimes she use to go overboard! and use to misinterpret things! but my question is, why should not fall for a charming, good looking, and if i must say so nice hearted person like Armaan? and that too when he is like 24-7 stuck with her share each and every thought and feeling with her! they really connected from heart! and purab just couldn't make get Jassi sleeples nights, couldn't get her heartbeat faster! as I said love can happen to anyone and you just love him or her just the way he or she is!

Vuh tu hain! Life just isnt as wonderful with the Apu intoxication, but i'm afraid its also not fun alone. where is my late night partners in crime these days? Aheeemm nupur?? 😉😆 paar i will only have to stay away from the apu potion for one day because of the surgery, but after that .... i am ready for apu to blow me away 😳

there is so many different reasons when you look back but the most important one is her heart. love brings armaan and jassi together in every situation

Hmmm, that is a very interesting question Jyoti. Why did jassi choose armaan over purab? Alternatively, let me put it my way, why did jassi fall in love with Armaan than Purab.

So i'll start with the first and foremost thing, which is also the discussion here, LOVE. Love happens in the strangest of places, and amongst the most strangest of people. Love is like an oasis, which makes its mark in a desert and noone has any clue how or why it started. It just happens, and then it becomes the most beautiful place in the whole desert, which not only gives peace, but also a feeling of purity and beauty. The same is the love of Armaan and Jassi – two strangest people, completely different, totally opposite - when interacted, love sparked.

Armaan gave a new dimension to Jassi. Jassi was an average girl who knew what she wanted, but Armaan was the one who brought out the best in her. The highly irresistible Armaan when encouraged her and made her feel important, the result was bound to be attraction. Jassi was highly attracted to him. Although Love took its own sweet time, but attraction was always there. After all, who can resist the charm and persona of Armaan Suri. Later, Armaan appreciated her for everything she did. When people were busy pinching her for her looks, Armaan was busy appreciating her and trusting her every decision. As a result Jassi's feelings for him turned into trust and faith. And this was the beginning of her love for Armaan.

Puran on the other hand was a wonderful guy, but, Jassi considered Purab nothing but a friend. You see I believe, some people are only meant to be your friends. Nothing you or they can do which can change this feeling. Jassi always considered Purab as a friend, and that is the only feeling her heart could attach to him.

On the other hand, Armaan actually convinced her to love him crazily. When he was using his seductiongiri on Jassi, he almost drove Jassi to a point of no return. And Jassi fell head over heels in love with him. Later things get sour because of Mallika, but the love that had made a strong place in her heart for Armaan, was there to stay for ever. Then she agreed to marry Purab, but when you love someone, you can't love someone else. And that's exactly what happened. She loved Armaan and her heart only belonged to him. She tried her best to give Purab that place, but in vain. Thats why I say, love has the strangest way of melting your heart and make you do things you never thought you would or could do.

So I think Armaan has a lot to do in why Jassi chose to love Armaan than Purab. The way Armaan touched that untouched flower and made her see the face of love and belonging to someone. The man who had the power of looking at her and making her weak in her knees, the man who had the power of touching her and melt her with that heated touch - only Armaan. It was a passing this for Armaan, a selfish one at that time, but for Jassi, it was a life changing event. She had truly fallen in love with him. And after that, her heart could only register Armaan. And she knew deep down in her heart that it was only Armaan who could give her true happiness and love - Love which is every girls dream. 😊

Jo soch samajh kar ho, woh pyar nahin hota...arranged marriage ho sakti hai...but not love. So much has been said here about why Jassi was attracted to Armaan and not Purab. Yeah, JJKN depicts that Purab loved Jassi...but I was never convinced why Purab would love Jassi...He was too good to be true, anyone would want a husband like him. And it is this type that I would warn every girl to be aware of. Marry someone whose vices u r aware of or else u will be in for too many shocks. And Purab was one such person that one should beware of. I never understood Purab's love for Jassi...what did he have to go by... a few picnics he had with her in Alibagh? And he comes following her to Mumbai with plans to buy out her boss. Armaan, on the other hand, had spent so much time with Jassi, who was at his beck and call day and night. She did so much for him that he fell in love with the ugly Jassi is understandable. But Purab who was Mr. two goody shoes was all about the perfect impressions...And is anyone all perfect? I felt that he was doing it because he wanted to proove his goodness to himself...that he is doing such an honorable thing by marrying the ugly duckling. Along comes an ex flame and he doen't even support Jassi when she insults Jassi infront of everyone. Jassi leaves with Armaan and the fire strikes. Its circumstances that she couldn't talk to him, but Mr. too good realizes that for Jassi Armaan will always come first and that he cannot live such a relationship. But he allow her to be insulted. Jassi fell in love with Armaan Sir much before Purab came on scene. Armaan Sir might have considered her furniture, but he had always come to her rescue in the most trying times at work and that is what she saw. She always got to see him as her Prince Charming in the shining armour and always to her rescue and so she fell in love with him. So how could she fall in love with Purab when she loved Armaan...if she chose to marry him, it was not her heart, but mind that made the decision.

So if Apu never showed up to help me because of the suhaag raat scenarios, then that would make Shreya the real culprit, right?!?! But then what happened to the 10 day vacation...no no, I think Sharnu's pyaari Shilpa is the culprit here! I'll get her for this!!!

Anyway Jyoti, no need to over-exert the brain cells trying to answer this one. Its very simple, you see - Jassi chose Armu over Purab for a few reasons:
1) He is better looking
2) His smile is more breathtaking
3) He looks absolutely angelic when he sleeps (sona bachcha!)
4) He allows her to take care of everything, thus allowing her to continue to use her brain cells - you see, Jassi thoroughly enjoys this. She has to be able to over stimulate her brain cells at all times, otherwise she gets bored.
5) He allows her to always stay worried. She enjoys worrying about others, and with Armu, she's able to fulfill that.

See, she would never have any of these things with Purab.
So the answer is very simple! 😛
