Despite my bitterness towards Purab, I must give him props for being a gentleman and not reading Jassi's Diary. This has redeemed him a little bit in my eyes. He was wondering whether or not he should open it and read it, knowing he would be able to, through the book, tap into all of Jassi's most personal, deepest secrets. He was still debating about it when the wind blew it open, right to the page where Jassi admitted her love for her Armaan sir. Had that not happened, I wonder if Purab would have even so much as opened it. After this, Purab could have, out of his own curiosity, read the diary page for page, but like a true gentleman, he didn't invade Jassi's privacy. I respect him for that.
But I really do wonder whether or not he would have read it at all if the wind hadn't blown it open. Part of me says no b/c he didn't read through it when he had the chance to, but then again, maybe that one page was enough for him - maybe it satisfied his curiosity.
It was also sweet how he wanted it placed back in her office so that no one would know it was ever gone.
As much as I dislike him, he does at times seem to have Jassi's best interest at heart, and is a true gentleman.
