As the ACP finishes outlining his plan to trap CJ, his listeners look rather doubtful. Shyam Sundar seems the most apprehensive. "Sa'ab…..isme toh bahut khatra hai…."
ACP: Jaanta hun….lekin CID ke hote hue, ab kisi begunaah ki maut nahin hogi…..issliye tum chinta mat karo….
Raj: Bas ek problem hai…..hume ek aisa aadmi chahiye jo CJ ke kareeb ho, jo hume uss tak pahuncha sake…..
At that moment, Parvatlal is visiting CJ in the jail.
P.lal: Sirji, yahaan toh khatra badhta hi ja raha hai….hum par log shaq karne lage hai…
CJ bares his walrus teeth. "Don't worry Parvatlal…..tumhe kuch nahin hoga…aur waise bhi, agar tumhe London mein wo ghar chahiye, toh meri madad toh karni hogi….hai na? (looks business-like) Tumne Rangeela bhai ko payment kar di thi na? Wo Neha Shastri aur uski beti, hamare kabze mein rehne chahiye….."
Pervman trembles visibly and looks extremely guilty. Cj notices it immediately. "Kya hua?" he demands.
Pervman: Sir ji…..sir ji….hum aapse yahin toh kehne aaye the….
CJ: Parvatlal…..seedhe-seedhe batao…!
Pervman: Sir ji….kal raat un dono ko…..CID ne chuda liya….hume abhi-abhi pata chala…aur hum aapko khabar karne aa gaye….
CJ slams his fist against the prison wall and nearly yells, "Kya????? Un dono ko chuda liya?? Aur Rangeela bhai kya kar raha tha…uske aadmi kiss kaam ke hai?"
Pervman: (looking hurt) Hum toh pehle hi keh rahe the….ki yeh kaam hamare hawale kar dijiye….kisi chote-mote bhai-wai se kaam karane se achcha tha, apne wafaadaar aadmi se karate…
CJ: (gritting his teeth) Tumse kisi ne rai maangi? Main jaanta tha ki main kya kar raha hun…..tumhe iss kidnapping mein directly involve na karke, tumse sirf bhai tak paise pahunchaane ka kaam karvaya, taaki tum par koi shaq na jaye….au theek waisa hi hua….Armaan Suri ke ilzaam lagane ke baad bhi, Gajanan Kaka ne tumhari baat par yakeen kiya….par mujhe nahin pata tha ki CID iss case mein involve ho jayegi…yes ab uss Jassi ka kiya hai….!
Parvatlal: Jassi se toh hume bhi bahut shiqayat hai sirji….aur uss Armaan ko toh hum dekh lenge…..sabke saamne hum par haath uthaya…!
CJ then tells him to listen carefully. Since G Kaka still apparently trusts Parvatlal, he must use all his influence to get Oberoi Industries' funds gradually transferred into the accounts of CJ and his accomplices. In the meantime, he will see what to do about Jassi and her clan.
Barely has Parvatlal left than Mehta, another accomplice (whom G Kaka had interrogated) rushes in to meet him.
CJ: Tum? Tum yahan kyun aaye….maine manna kiya tha na?
Mehta: Sir, bahut gadbad ho gayi hai….Gajanan sir ko hamare company takeover karne ke plans ke baare mein pata chal gaya hai!
Cj's mouth gives a frustrated twitch. "Yeh kya ho raha hai! Tumne sab kaise bata diya….."
Mehta explains how G kaka had got the truth out of him at gunpoint. He then asks CJ if he knew anything about some kidnapping.
CJ: (harshly) Tumhara usse koi lena-dena nahin….aur koi baat?
Mehta then fearfully tells him that he had overheard G kaka talking to Jassi on the phone….that there was a witness who had seen CJ murdering Anuj Shastri.
CJ's expression is one of mingled rage and pain. "Mehta!" he breathes, "mujhe kisi bhi tarah iss jail se nikalna hoga…iss Jassi aur uske saathiyon ko, ab main khud ki tackle karunga!"
