Raj breaks the news of Ashish's arrival to the rest of the Gulmohur staff. As expected, there is rejoicing all around.
Ruby Mom: Raj, tumhe toh sabko mithai baantni chahiye….aakhir tumhare dost ka beta hua hai!
Raj: Achcha…..toh Armaan wahaan aaram se Amritsar mein baitha rahe, aur pocket meri khaali ho!
Nazneen: Kyun sir….hum sab jaante hai ki Gulmohur mein aaj, aapse zyada khush aur koi nahin hai..!
Raj tries to deny it but the broad grin that spreads on his face in spite of himself gives him away. He laughs and nods. "All right, all right……sirf mithai hi nahin, balki kal Gulmohur mein meri tarah se sabko ek party!"
There is a burst of applause. Neha, who is looking almost as radiant as Raj himself, flashes him a glance of admiration. He smiles, but the very next moment his expression changes as his cellphone rings and he sees the number on it.
Raj: (picking up the phone tersely) Haan…..aap watchman ko keh dijiye, aapka mere saath appointment hai…..Yes, I'll be in my office. See you!
As he puts down the phone, he catches Neha's puzzled glance on him. Trying to look unmoved, he tells her, rather sternly, "Neha, meri ek client ke saath important meeting hai….make sure ki koi bhi hame disturb na kare."
Neha looks a bit taken aback, but nods quietly. But one person is not so easily satisfied. Pari has overheard the conversation, and but naturally, is all agog to know what is behind all this.
Raj enters his cabin and sits down tensely. A while later, his visitor arrives, and it is none other than Mr.Malkani, the man he had asked to find out about CJ.
Mr.Malkani: Good news, Mr.Raj. Kuch progress hai….aapne jo information maangi thi….
Pari, meanwhile, is cautiously tiptoeing to the entrance of Raj's cabin. No one notices her, because they are all excited about Ashish. But one person sees her—Neha Shastri.
Pari puts her ear to the door, catching the last few words: "….jo information maangi thi…."
Then somebody puts her hand on her shoulder. She utters a little squeal and turns around, to find Neha glaring at her.
Neha: Tum yahaan kya kar rahi ho?
Pari: Wo…wo mmain…..main dekh rahi thi ki Raj ko kuch chahiye toh nahi….
Neha: Pari, Raj ki secretary main hun, tum nahin….jao, apna kaam karo….
Pari flounces off, mumbling under her breath, "Iss office mein toh sirf secretaries ka raaj hai….pehli wo chashmish Jassi, phir uski wo behen, aur ab yeh Neha Shastri……main bhi toh secretary hi hun, par meri koi kyun nahin sunta….after all main inn sab se zyada sundar, smart aur capable hun!"
After shooing off Pari, Neha is about to walk away, when she catches a few words from the cabin: "….aur Anuj Shastri…" She stops short and presses closer to the door. What she hears inside obviously disturbs her, as she walks away with a stunned look on her face.
