Jassi is due for another hospital visit, and this time Nandu, Beauty, Chaman and Angel (!š) are going with them. Angel goes about with a wide grin on her face. "At lastā¦ā¦kitne dino ke baad main city jaungiā¦.Armaan, hum log hospital jaane ke baad, thoda sa city ghoomenge na?"
Armu: (warily) Sureā¦lekin bahut time nahin le sakte, Jassi ke liye itna exertion theek nahinā¦..aur tumhara pair bhi toh poori tarah theek nahin haiā¦
Angel nods quite amicably, while Chaman, who is passing by, whispers, "Angel ji, aap shehr jaane ke khayal se bahut khush lag rahe hoā¦ā¦"
Angel: (trying to look cool and indifferent) Well of courseā¦itne din gaon mein reh-reh kar, koi bhi bore ho jayegaā¦..
Chaman: Nahin jiā¦..aapko aise lagta haiā¦.uss din picnic se waapas aate waqt, jab maine aapko pind ghumaya tha š, tab aapko achcha laga tha naā¦?
Armaan overhears this and comes over with a wicked look in his eyes. "Ghumaya thaā¦..?? Yeh kaise hua Chamanā¦.hume toh laga tha ki tum Angel ko tractor mein bitha ke seedha ghar laaye theā¦phir yeh ghoomna-voomnaā¦.?"š
Meghna: (joining in) Armaan, waapas lane ke liye ek chhoti road hoti hai, aur ek lambiā¦.yeh driver ke upar depend karta hai ki wo kis road se passenger ko le jaana chahta haiā¦.right Angel?
Angel: Shut up you two!
But she is blushing: apparently the picnic has changed quite a few things!šš³
They all get in and drive off in a cloud of dust. When they arrive at the hospital, Chaman and Nandu take Angel to get her foot examined, while Armaan and Beauty accompany Jassi for her regular check-up. The doctor smiles as she hands over the reports, but adds, "Abhi tak toh sab theek haiā¦.but Mr.Suri, next week aap inhe admit kara dijiyeā¦inki delivery date paas aati ja rahi haiā¦."
JandA look at each other in dismay. Armu asks, looking downcast, "Par doctor, itni jaldiā¦?"
Doctor: Mr.Suri, isme koi jaldi ki baat nahin haiā¦.yeh normal procedure haiā¦.aur iss haalat mein aapko koi risk nahin lena chahiyeā¦.
They file out of the cabin, Armaan holding Jassi's shoulders š³comfortingly. The others join them and say that Angel's sprain is now quite all right, but she should give it a little exercise to get it back into normal walking condition. Beauty morosely informs them about the doctor's orders. Everyone except Angel looks subdued.
Angel says practically, "Come on guysā¦.we all knew it, na? Agar doctor ne kaha hai toh follow toh karna hi chahiyeā¦aur Jassi ko ghar pe rakh ke, risk lene se achcha hai ki wo yahaan experts ke paas raheā¦"
They all seem to agree, albeit reluctantly.
