In Gulmohur, work is progressing fast. Maddy has prepared the designs for his new collection. Armaan is delighted to see them and gives orders for the fabrics to be delivered as per Maddy's requirements.
Raj is busy on the phone with his Australian contacts, assuring them that GM's new collection will be showcased exclusively in their store. Neha is seeing to his office. He observes her and thinks, "Neha bahut efficient aur intelligent hai…..beauty with brains….par pata nahin kya majboori hai, jo usse yahan tak layi hai…..Armaan se poochna padega!"
Armaan and Raj meet up at the coffee shop for a break. Raj is looking thoughtful.
Armaan: Kya baat hai…..tu chup hota hai toh kuch ajeeb-sa lagta hai!
Raj: Yaar, main Neha Shastri ke baare mein soch raha tha….aakhir kya story hai uski?
Armaan: (sighing) Yeh batana mere liye aasaan nahin hai….kyunki Neha ki kahaani ke saath, meri aur Jassi ki bahut kadvi yaadein bhi judi hai….par tujhe pata hona chahiye…..
He goes on to relate what happened in Nainital: how Father Roderigues convinced Jassi to act as Neha Shastri; how Aryan, Mallika and Pervetlal😡 had conspired to frame Jassi for the murder of Anuj Shastri, the hotel-owner who had aided and abetted CJ in creating the infamous chaddi scene😡😡 🤢that broke up JandA'a wedding😭; how Neha turned up at the last minute to deliver the evidence that saved Jassi; and how a meeting with Neha made Armaan realize that his Jassi had been innocent all along.
Armaan: (forcefully) Tu samajh sakta hai ki main Neha ka kitna shukraguzar hoon…..agar wo na hoti, toh shayad meri Jassi mujhse ab bhi juda hoti….main nahin chahta ki wo sirf ek secretary ki job karein…lekin main unke self-respect ko chot nahin pahunchana chahta…! Ab tu hi bata yaar……kya koi raasta hai unki help karne ka?
Raj: (thoughtfully) Koi na koi raasta toh main soch hi loonga….par yaar….ek baat meri samajh mein nahin aa rahi….ki Anuj Shastri ka khoon aakhir kiya kisne…?
Armu: Kya fark padta hai….the point is ki Jassi ke sirr se wo ilzaam hat gaya….bas…..mere liye yahi kaafi hai….!
They finish their coffee and get up. Raj is still thoughtful.
At night, Armaan enters his bedroom to find Vedika cuddling up to Jassi.
Vedika: Jassi mamma, hamara baby boy hoga ya girl?
Jassi: (eyes dancing) Umm….yeh ko pata nahin….par itna zaroor pata hao ki wo apni Vedika didi se bahut pyaar karega aur unki har baat manega….aur Vedika bhi usse bahut pyaar karegi na…?
Vedika: (eyes wide) Haan Jassi mamma, main uska bahut khyal rakhungi….kissi ko usse tang nahin karne doongi……
Armaan stands in the doorway, watching this scene with a mixture of amusement and delight. He sneaks up to the bed (Vedika's back is to him) and motions to Jassi not to give him away. He reaches Vedika and grabs her from behind. She gives a little squeal and turns; upon seeing who it is, she immediately hugs him.😛
Armu: Toh hamari Vedika ko baby ka bahut intezaar hai….
Vedika: Haan Armaan papa….kya main usse baat kar sakti hoon?
Armu: Kyun nahin….(makes her put her head on Jassi's tummy, which has now grown a little) Ab suno…..aapka baby brother….sister aapse kya keh raha hai?
Vedika listens earnestly and then utters a little shriek of delight. "Papa, mamma, wo awaaz kar raha hai….jaise koi pump chal raha ho….!"
Jassi: Yeh baby ke dil ki awaaz hai….wo aapse keh raha hai.. 'Vedika didi, main jaldi se aake, bada hoke aapke saath khelna chahta hoon….!
Vedika: (her head still on Jassi's tummy) Jassi Mamma, hamara baby kaisa hoga?
Armaan: (staring deeply into Jassi's eyes) Agar girl hui toh…..bilkul aapki Jassi mamaa ke jaisi…..yahi aankhen….yahi gaal…(touches his fingertip to her cheek)…..yahi naak..(naughtily pulls her nose)….yahi….
He is about to say something further but Jassi, blushing red, pleads with her eyes to stop and gestures towards Vedika. The child, however, is apparently oblivious to the hot hot vibes😉 of the two and innocently asks, "Aur agar boy hua toh..?"
Jassi: Toh…wo bilkul aapke Armaan papa jaisa hoga….(stares mesmerized at him and blushes at his ardent gaze ❤️) …aise hi gussewala…(Armaan pouts like a schoolboy😳)…..aise hi ziddi…aur bilkul aise hi sweet! (shakes his chin fondly)😳😳😳
Vedika smiles contentedly and falls asleep. JandA are left staring at each other in forgetful adoration. ❤️❤️❤️
Tomorrow: Beauty and Nandu are eating vada-paav together.😉😆
