IMP-MEMBERS INTERESTED IN WRITING UPDATES

Hi Friends,

We have many members who might be interested in posting updates in this section. That is a wonderful news and IF always welcomes new talent. We would be more than happy to have any of you as an updater.

All you have to do is to let the regular updaters OR coolbies as they are better known and any of the the JJKN mods, know that you are interested in updating and would like to try your hand in it. In other words, contact the section coolbies.

Then the coolbies will arrange for the updates to be written by all interested members in a systematic and a regular fashion. In that way, all the talents will be properly showcased and there will not be any confusion as to who is updating for any particular day and also the hard work put in by both the new updaters and the coolbies don't get wasted and is duly appreciated. And who knows, in due course of time, if you are regular and dedicated like our coolbies,who take out so much of their time and make so much effort to keep us updated to every single thing happening, you might get promoted to be a coolbie yourself !!!

Don't you think it will work against the freedom of posting any message on IF????....

i.e. asking permission to post an impromptu update message and then waiting for coolbies or moderators to reply or give a 'go-ahead' and then posting it......

I mean I don't think anybody will like to go that route.... This will make members, infact, not write impromptu update as they might fear of having to write it regularly....... I think we should let the people come and give their updates without any restrictions..... Just any day any time....... It should not be mandatory to anyone to give updates on regular basis...... or to answer anyone for missed updates..... It is by all means updaters own wish to update and a favor to all the readers.........

I like the idea of having regular coolbies and they do a good job of being prompt and regular.... But still it does not sound right that if someone wants to give an early update one day or few days whenever possible, he/she should contact someone before doing so....... It just simply does not sound RIGHT!!!

Hi Manimau, it is not against the policy that everyone can post freely. First of all if you contact the mods/coolbies, it doesn't mean that you will lose your privelidge. No matter what I don't think they are going to stop you from updating but it saves a lot of time of the updaters.

If one person is going to update then why should another Coolbie or member take time to update again.

Another thing, if you update once doesn't mean that you will have to update regularly. But if you choose to then you can be promoted up to Coolbie but it is not mandatory.

There is no restriction on anybody concerning that. Anybody can update but informing each other just helps work efficiently without wasting time. I am sure nobody would have problems with consulting.

It doesn't mean losing your privelidges but contacting each other can keep IF run smoothly as TEAM means Together Everybody Achieves More!

All we are saying is this:

Firstly, post the update in general discussion to avoid clutter in update section.
Second, notify that there will be detailed update so that members don't get confused. Because it is really infair if members feel there will be no detailed update due to a short update being posted.

I think these are simple steps which everyone can follow. We are not expecting anyone to take permissions to post anything. Just want to preent some chaios in the section. 😊

The whole idea behind informing the regular coolbies before updating, has a humane concern: It's not about hurting a coolbies's feelings or the coolbie losing his/her regular readers, the important reason is that some of our coolbies are also mothers and wives, who put in extra effort and deserve extra credit as they have tons of other responsibilities which may be young people like me don't have. So if they are informed in advance, won't they be glad to get a surprise holiday? This way, new talent will also get a chance and so will our coolbie's families get their precious company.

we second that.

the idea that you should inform us before updating is only for our ( coolbies' and readers')benefit.if you are going to write a detailed update we can have a holiday and if you are coming with a short one we can post a notice that this is the short one and detailed one will come after some time. you will by no means lose your priviledge if you inform us . 😃!

anyways,thanks to the moderators and administrators to find out a simple but attractive solution of this problem. we are happy with it and we hope that everyone will be happy and satisfied with it.

Hi Everyone - Thanks to everyone who has taken pains to update us - short updates or detailed ones - both are value added to us who get to know what happens 5 hours prior to the show.....

Does any one of the updaters watch Kkusum....we really need your detailed/short updates on that show - no offense to Anoli/Mala (the current updater) - it is very hard to understand this updater - are any one of you willing to take the challenge of updating Kkusum....apparently no rules apply - you just go in and update...Please check out the Kkusum site and read updates by Anoli/Mala and see if I am being judgemental....
