Purab and Nandu once agian to Jessica's rescue.

First Purab was in dust bin, now all of a sudden he's a "friend". What happen that night when she couldn't even spare two seconds to talk to her friend.

I practice what I preach. I understand I'm having some heated moments with my sweetie, but if I know that a friend of mine is concern for me and is trying to reach me for whatever reasons, I will pick up and talk to them properly instead of brushing them off the phone.

So I think it's pretty shady on Jessica's part to now call purab a friend.... If I was Purab I wouldn't even come to her rescue or be her support.

Just my thoughts!

I beg to disagree here. I agree the night she shut the phone on Purab was rude but her saying to Purab today that he is her friend is no way selfish on her part. She said it because he came to help her. That she did not ask for it is beside the point though relevant. It would have been selfish if she had accepted the help, sweet talked him and then forget him the moment she came out of the jail. She did nothing like that. She called him her friend as a recognition of his support in times of her need, inspite of not taking that support and doing something all by herself for a change. That is not such a bad thing to do, is it? Also the night in the dress convo, it was actually Purab who was mean to her rather than the other way round.

Here I see a very lopsided balance of a relationship between a man and a woman where the one in a better position is plying all his support on the less endowed one, so much so that any thing she utters, good or bad, becomes a sabre over her head threatening to engulf her in waves of ingratitude she is sure never to come out in at least one life time.

i think purab character has a meaning. his return was for specific purpose to help jassi get makeover and make her belive in herself and yes i do agree that some times jassi has been rude to purab but both know she loves armaan and also sameersoni had told in interview some time back that jassi is made for armaan and i have funny feeling that he is going to do kanyadaan of jassi to armaan or mayb jassidan 😆😆😆 he wud give jassi in the end to armaan and say sambhalo apni amanat jassi tumari hai tumhari hi rahegi alvida armaan suri 😊

he cud convince jassi to tell her parents not to wry thier jassi is safe and sound and wud come to them and soon armaan wud also know

Hi Minnie, 😊

I understand what you're saying. To a certain extent, Purab is trying too hard.

But when you call someone a "friend", with it comes a responisbility. Granted a friendship is a very subjective thing. Your definition of friendship could be different than mine.

All of a sudden she's calling him a friend because he came to her rescue, what about all the things he did for before she landed up in jail? You never ever see Jessica showing the smallest bit of appriciation towards him. It's only towards, Nandu and Armaan.

Yes I have to say, that Jessica is leading Purab to a certain extent. Why does she go on asking him for his advice? About the dress, about her plans and her missions?

All this time she's having her cake and eating it too. Jessica takes advantage of the friendship. She uses his support and then when it comes time to respect him and his advice (for example listen to what he's saying on the phone, as opposed to brushing him off) she doens't feel the need to do so.

I guess the only thing she ever wanted from Purab was his resouces i.e. money, fame, employment, but not for his support or advice. In a friendship you can't pick and choose. You accetp a friend for all their worth.😃

Just my thoughts.😃

coulden't agree more peaches.......to use your friends according to your convenience without giving any credit to them, without being thankful is called selfish and o me she is very selfish and selfcentered. When she is winning, it's always 'HER VICTORY' and when she is loosing, it's always 'EVERYBODY HAS BEEN MEAN TO ME'.

She refused to take help from Nandu and Purab b'coz if she does and then comes out of the mess; credit for her 'VICTORY' goes to Nandu and Purab and not her. Now she will fight on her own and become great as always. Because this serial is called Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahi.

In a way it's true.........there can be nobody; so selfish like Jassi 😉 .

what is so selfish in jassi saying "i am glad to have the support of true friends like u both"? should she have said "i am glad to have the support of nandu's friendship and purab's love" and then said "since u have come to my rescue purab i have instantly fallen in love with u, come i will sign my bail papers and we'll get married in the arya samaj mandir immediately"?

Shreya,

It's not about admitting to his love and having the same feelings towards him, it's about acknowledging someone's love and true friendship.

Purab is in love with Jassi, no doubt or two ways about that. Yes he is making a mistake as well by being around her so much and putting himself through all that pain.

But ask yourself why would he go through that? No one is a fool too keep doing that have his or heart keep breaking. I once mentioned in another post, that it's so painfull to watch the one you love, love somone else.

Yet, Purab is supporting her, then isn't it safe to say that he's gaining nothing by helping her out so much. He must obviously care about her friendship so much that he is willing to support her no matter what.

I know that Jessica can't do much about the way she feels, but the least she can do is show and share with him a little bit of appriciation for what he has done, and at the very least take his advice and respect him. Jessica has show to be doing none of these things all through out the show, and that's what makes her selfish. It's all about her heartbreak wth Armaan, her mission, her parents., her this, her that....Oh poor Jassi😭.

i think since jassi considers purab to be her close friend.....she doesnt show any formalities like thank you and appreciating as such.....

u know with friends we dont care abt formalities and also abt thankyou's and appreciation as we are an open book with them .....maybe thats why jassi is acting like this......i mean from purabs side its love but jassi considers him only as her close friend and hence she reacts like that .....

though i feel bad for purab as he loves jassi

it is obvious that my and your views on relationships and friendship differ completely.the problem here is not what jassi says, but more in the lines of her defination of relationships. there has to be some sort of consistency in it...with jassi there is none.the point that kills me most is that she seems to take her friends for granted and use thier help again and again without a second thought. the relationship is more of a one way thing than two way.i agree that purab is always in position to help her and she seems to be constantly is some soup...but unfortunately most of it is of her own making(she never seems to learn from her mistakes). some one said on the last round of discussions onthis issue that she went to purab bcoz that was the only way of survival. i disagree that was the easiest way not the only way. it would have taken much more effort to fight the situation on her own than to get everything served by purab on a platter.i don't want her to marry purab in gratitude but atleast she must give him his due courtesy.it is often said that there are no thankyous and sorrys in friendship but one is supposed to feel those things regardless.

why does purab do it....he is a fool or just a very good hearted person who cannot say no(there are people like that ).
