Night. Jassi and Nandu are enjoying a chummy chat in her room. Jassi teases him about his infatuation with Pari. Nandu looks befuddled.
Nandu: Ab tu hi bata Jassi , main kya karun…? Pari ka saath dene wala office mein koi nahin hai…mujhe usko thodi consideration toh deni padegi na?😆
Jassi gives him a friendly slap on his shoulder. "Nandu, mujhe toh lag raha hai ki tu usse kuch zyada hi consideration de raha hai….Papaji keh rahe the ki tu aajkal office mein overtime kar raha hai?
Nandu looks embarrassed. "Uncleji toh mujhse waise bhi naaraz hain…uss din theatre mein…." He tells her the entire movie incident.😆😆😆
Jassi looks reproachful when he ends. "Tu bhi na….buddhu ka budhhu hi hai….kya zaroorat thi Beauty ka dil iss tarah todne ki?"
N: Mujhe kya pata tha, ki woh sab ussi theatre mein…par Jassi, maine usse agle din sorry bol diya tha…usse icecream khilane bhi le gaya tha….
Jassi smiles to herself. Nandu bids her "good night" and leaves, just as Armaan comes in, carrying Vedika. (oh no….KMH?)
JandA settle down on the bed with Vedika between them. Vedika asks them to tell her about Goa. They start telling her about the beauty of the place, gazing at each other all the time.😳😳😳
A little while later, Bebe comes in and asks Vedika to come and sleep with her. Vedika is doubtful. "Mujhe Jassi mamma ke saath sona hai."
Bebe: Meri chhoti Nani, tum Jassi mamma ke saath do din mein ghar toh jaane wali ho na? Par apni Bebe ke saath toh aaj so jao….Jassi mamma aur Armaan papa bahut thak gaye hain, unhe aaram karne do…
She takes Vedika away. (I loweeeeeee this lady!👏 She knows exactly the right thing to do at the right time!) JandA are alone.
Armaan is still gazing at Jassi (stop staring Apu!😉). "Jassi", he whispers, "You're glowing."
She blushes and looks down. "Mujhe bahut sukoon mil gaya hai Armaan, ghar aake….sabse milke….apni Vedika ke paas wapas…ab hum apne ghar ja kar apni duniya ko bhatu khoobsurat banayenge…."
He gently kisses her forehead. They bid each other good-night (what….no ahem-ahem?😭😆 )and drift off to sleep.
Next morning: JandA arrive at GM, to an ecstatic welcome from Ruby mom, Nazneen, Maddy, the other employees….and a not-too enthusiastic one from Jaggy B. Nandu is beaming.
Armaan is annoyed to see Jaggy there. He asks Nandu, "Yeh yahan kya kar raha hai?"
Maddy intervenes. "Armaaaaan…..maine Nandu se kaha tha, isse re-hire karne ko…mujhe ek assistant ki zaroorat hai….hamare coordination bahut achchi hai….kyun Jaggy baby?" He winks at Jaggy, who gives a forced smile that looks more like a grimace.😕
Armaan also grimaces. "Aur Pari…usse bhi toh re-hire kiya gaya tha na….woh aaj office mein kyun nahin hai?"
Nandu explains that she is on leave. Armaan looks annoyed and stalks off to his office, where Jassi follows him.
J: Kya hua Armaan….aate hi itne pareshan ho gaye?
A (softening): Nahin Jassi, aisi koi problem nahin hai…bas, iss office ko pata nahin kya hota ja raha hai….Pari aur Jaggy ke rehte hue Gulmohur kya progress karega? Pehle sab kuch kitna achcha tha….sab log the yahan…..Raj, Maria, Veeru……..
Flashbacks of old JJKN days, with the original GM staff……awwwwww………..😭
Then Armaan rouses himself. "But don't worry Jassi….tum aaram karo…..ab main Gulmohur mein sab theek kar doonga…sab kuch pehle se bhi achcha ho jayega…
The camera freezes on Jassi sitting in her chair, Armaan standing and holding her hand.
Tomorrow: Armaan is talking with Puru on the phone.
