First day, no show
Kasamh Se unit makes Rakshanda Khan wait for 12 hours on the first day of her shooting

Wednesday (May 5) was her first day of shooting for Kasamh Se. But Rakshanda Khan (who will play Roshni Chopra in the show) was clueless about when work would start. Khan reported to work on time only to be kept waiting for her co-star Ashwini Kalsekar (who plays Jigyaya) to arrive for 12 hours straight! The two had to be in the same frame and hence Khan had little option but to wait for her co-star.
According to an eyewitness, the said shot was to be filmed at around 10 am. However Kalsekar showed up only around 10.30 pm. All this time Khan simply twiddled her fingers. She also had to postpone the shooting schedule for her other show, Jodi Kamal Ki by a day.
Apparently Kalsekar had already informed Balaji officials about her absence in advance. She had discussed her plans to go out of town with the executive producer of the show. And seemingly she wasn't aware that Khan was scheduled to shoot with her from that day or that she was waiting for her.
When contacted, Rakshanda Khan preferred to be diplomatic. She said: "It was not Ashwini's fault. I reached the sets before she did. I wasn't aware of Ashwini's plans or that she had informed Balaji about it. From what I know of her, she has always been professional."
Khan apparently doesn't want to ruffle any feathers and believes that it is an industry where one has to be patient and tolerant.
Meanwhile all attempts to get in touch with co-star Ashwini Kalsekar's proved futile as her mobile phone was switched off.
Would Balaji officials like to comment on Khan's trauma?
