That's the thing though irresistable, Armaan's role is that of a hopeless lover (and I mean that in a good way....no attacks Armaanians)....so he has to emote with his eyes and show how he's completely lost without Jassi....

With Purab the point is to show a contrast between him and Armaan so it is to show that he's more in control of himself and wants to be Jassi's strength so he cannot emote like Armaan in front of her. He has to respect her decision to hide stuff from him and accept her love for Armaan coz he knows that he cannot get her so all he can do is be a good friend (who's still in love with her) so that's a complex situation in itself. So in short, I think he's doing a really good job considering the complexity of his role. Anymore emoting would be overaction! 😕

Anyways that's my take on it....you can still like Apoorva's acting better....again I repeat...that's good for me coz less people liking Purab = greater chances for Piscean with Purab ❤️.....has a nice ring to it doesn't it 😉

jprasad how come you never ask me to give hugs and pats on Purab's back! You don't even have to ask me I'm there already!

well said Piscean👏👏👏

I think that Purab is acting fabulously according to te demands of the role......and may I ask what is deemed "good acting"....I would say it means that the actor should be successful in portraying the emotions he is supposed to....and Purab has done that.....

moreover, he is shown as an introvert, a loner by nature....he doesnt have the experience of engaging in quarrels with his partents or throwing tantrums....his success in the boardroom has made him perfect the art of maintaining a poker face..........

so I would be surprised if he began jumping all over when things didnt go his way.....his eyes convey emotions beautifully, the geograpgy of his face does not change to that of a bull dog when he is angry.....

Jprasad, as far as keeping Purab away from Jassi's chungal, she wouldnt dare phuslao him if she knows whats good for her

Wut i'm trying to say is that purab has the capability to take his character to new heights, if and only if, he shows the auidence, the true meaning of acting...show emotions!!!

Again irresistable, just to reiterate, Purab's character isn't supposed to emote overly on the screen. His character requires him to stay stern faced coz if he emotes more it would mean that he's losing control of himself and his identity. Like Ides said he's always been a loner so he's learnt to keep himself away from people and from emotions, hence, the trouble he was having with Rohan in the beginning! His true acting lies within his underplayed emotions coz that's what Purab's character demands. Acting isn't only about emoting, it also requires you to underplay emotions when necessary. When he's in awe of Jassi he has his regular expression with that silly smile but otherwise he's more of a person who keeps things to himself (from the character sketch) so he's emoting just enough for the character demands. 😊

i agree with u say but that doesnt mean samir doesnt act at all. we all knwo he can act we've seen it in other shows or in baghban but here is he stone faced.

regardless of whether he is happy, sad or whatever he has the SAME LOOK. Sure he need sot be retrained as per character but that doesnt mean he reamins the same in all his scened.

to answer your question irresistable....i think purab has one of the best emotions....infact he acts right according to the scenes...what do you want purab to do???join his brows and grind his teeth when someone insults jassi all show all of his bright teeth when someone praises jassi?

huh??......as for taking lessons from armaan....i'd better not post my comment.

sooo true 😉 over acting also get's a bit annoying u know i m glad purab is not doing it. arman oviously is the hairstyle and the beard........... man he needs to shave. i guess gulmohar went bankrupt soo arman doesnt have enough money to bye a razor or to go to the barber. if he would cut his hair and look like a human being i m willing to pay half the expense. the other half.................. come on guys dont be so cheap.
