Put yourself in Jassi's shoes. Jassi is also trying to save GM for Arman's happiness. She doesn't want Arman to feel guilty for anything. But Arman is the one, who is hiding his plans from Jassi. Why these directors are trying to show that before marriage you disclose everything to your lover, but after marriage, she should just sit at home and watch her husband suffering.
