Wow... Daisy..... I never imagined Armaan fans going to the extent of comparing Valmiki to Armaan...... Pretty cool.... huh.... I love your writing style... I am sure you will convince many with your style..... But probably not the ones like me..... And I am sure you have again hit a sixer according to your fellow Armaan-fans..... 😉

Anyway, Valmiki when he turned sage, remained sage all his rest of the life....... Are you sure people like Armaan will remain faithful and ego-less for the rest of their life after finding love?...... "Reassuring Mallika" incident doesn't let me believe that....... In fact makes my belief stronger.....

Anyway, in the BLF (or may be it is BLF II) that you mentioned also shows that after Armaan marries Jassi, he becomes unfaithful to her for some model...... Even then you think a girl should accept a man like him....???

It's like the K-serial..... accepting the rapist as husband just because he repented and changed to become a good person..... I know the rape is a BIG word to compare anything with..... But still the agony Jassi has gotten from Armaan's treatment to her is also of high magnitude.....

I agree.... She can forgive him..... She can forgive him all he wants...... But forgiving and marrying someone are two different things.... right?... 😉

ok wait a minute....please don't even dare to compare rape to what happened between Jassi and Armaan...that is just ridiculous. I am not even gonna comment on that.

I think we should stop this here..
I mentioned the sage, NOT in order to compare him with Armaan, manimanu, Armaan is nothing compared to Valmiki.
I just wanted to prove my point of forgiveness.
Valmiki was great enough to remain a sage all his life.
Qbee, it was Vishwamitra & Meneka whom u are trying to mention.

I'm sorry I started the topic..Let us leave our great men alone and talk of fiction.

mani...i agree with you but the problem is that different people have different idealogies and principles. if i were in jassi's shoes, i would have walked out of gm long back, never ended up loving a guy like armaan(even if i was attracted to him initially bcoz i could have never trusted him or respected him), never cooked books more than once....so on and ended by thanking lord for giving friends like nandu and purab.you see i happen to value some principles(one lie that hurts someone and you end up in my blacklist, and i hate people who manipulate loved ones) and materialistic things(basic ameneties) more than love(a fleeting emotion.honestly i would prefer a guy more like me.........but then jassi is not me. i guess you are thinking similarily.

she has been shown to be more emotional and she seems to value love very highly. if she can bring herself to forgive armaan , then she is welcome to him. yes she may be headed for a disaster (or not), armaan may change(or not)....that is the risk she will have to take.there are many people on the forum who keep saying that that would prefer/or have prefered a guy more like armaan (flawed) over a guy like purab(near perfect) and thier lives turned out great. i think that is great , maybe they could deal with whatever that entailed...i know i can't hence i opted for a boring life with a purabish guy....do i regret it ...no would do it again in a heartbeat.

bottom line....different people have different expectations from life , hence the diversity in lifestyles. no lifestyle is right and no lifestyle is wrong.

well, with regards to the show, if the show revolved around Jassi and Purab, there would be no show. What would be the point? I don't really care to watch someone get lectured all the time.

In BLF II (Ecomoda), Armando was never unfaithful to Betty. There was this woman Gabriela who was very much interested in him and this is what he had to say to her :

He tells her that few years ago he would've gone crazy about her, would've done anything to be with her. But his life changed. He's been happily married for two years and everyday is like a honeymoon. And he hopes it will be that way until the end of their days. He is infinitely in love with his wife and daughter, he sees lights through their eyes.

Gabriela is enchanted by what he has and admires and respects him.

Purab doesn't bring any excitement to the show...if you wanna see him, just get a clipping of his pic. Armaan and Jassi and all their flaws are what make JJKN what it is. I am not perfect and I have made mistakes, therefore I can't relate to Mr. Perfect (Purab). He is welcome to live own world alone cuz there is not one of us who is perfect and flawless.

well it would be a show but very different from what it is now and having completely different tracks....also jassi would not be lectured all the time since she would be a different person from what she is now.....odd as it may sound even perfection has ups and downs and has its own problems and moments. it is not boring just different. just because a couple is perfect does not mean that life won't throw them a twist.as for point if present show emphasizes the power of love , that show would have idolized some different universal moral(depending on the track).but for now let us stick to the present show.....the way i see it people are taken aback when the see something on the show they don't like bcoz they keep putting themselves in character's shoes. if i say jassi is wrong , it is bcoz i would have done things differently in her shoes....if you feel she is right that is bcoz probably you would have done the same thing in that situation.

Very aptly said pj..... I agree.... It always boils down to everyone's own perspective to see things differently..... 😊

and jprasad .... well, with regards to the show, if the show revolved around Jassi and Purab, there would be no show for you, .... as it was no show for me after Purab left....... I still kept myself up-to-date about what is happening with Jammy and Daisy's updates....... as I do read updates for the K-serials too, though I hate some of the things that Kekta shows.....
