Shouldn't i be rejoicing?
Because JandA fianlly made up, because J apologised to A exactly as we wanted her to, because they promised eternal fidelity to each other, because they did make love.....
So why is my heart heavy, and why are tears frozen in my throat?
Is it becuase TnD disappointed our Besharam hopes again? Because the lovemaking was nothing more than a few caresses and passionate words? Is it because the sizzle turned out to be a fizzle?
Well, that is partly the reason. I admit i'm majorly disappointed about that too. But then, we know TnD too well by now. And we also know JJKN is an Indian serial where they can't show much. I wasn't really expecting a kiss--though it would have been a treat if they HAD shown it. At least they showed "the morning after" which was what i was really keen on, so i can't say "i hate TnD " this time.
But i can live with all that. The point is, for the first time ever, a JandA confrontation was lacking in passion and tenderness. The famous, mindblowing, out-of-this-world JandA chemistry was missing! I can't believe i actually saw that!
JandA don't need a lovemaking scene to exude chemistry. Man, they don't even need to be in the same frame if you come to that! Even when they are shown just thinking of each other, hating each other, longing for each other, the passion, the frustration, the desperation comes through the screen and envelopes us hapless viewers.
Oh, but why am i speaking in the present tense? All that is gone! Today i couldn't fault Apu's performance--he was the passionate, impulsive , ardent, adorable Armaan Suri to the core. Hats off to him for giving us back our Dimples!
No, it was Jassi who was holding back. Well, actually, Mona. I can't believe this was my MOnalisa who gave flesh and blood to Jassi. Come on, girl! This is not how J is supposed to look just when all barriers have been swept away between her and her Armaan sir, when shewakes up in the morning with him by her side. She should be blushing, glowing, quivering.....
Instead we had her looking stiff and uncomfortable. For just one, brief moment i saw the familiar flash of passion in her eyes when Dimples touched her lips with his fingers. But it disappeared almost before i could register it.
It was almost as if she were steeling herself against Apu's charm. As if she knew that if she threw herself into the role as spontaneously as she used to , it would reawaken those feelings in her which she is now trying to get away from.
And no prizes for guessing the cause of that! That jealous, immature, chilidsh ,possesssive SS hovering around like a hawk! How could Mona relax with her watching everything?
And not to forget that constipated MM drooling in the background! Darn you, you rotten KMHs!! So you have finally succeeded in your blasted designs--you have sabotaged JandA chemistry! Why don't you two get married and leave MandA in peace? You can spend the rest of your days glued to each other like the chipkoos you are!
And judging by Monday's preview, JandA are in for more heartbtrak with CJ discovering the identity of MM"s "wife". So happpy days aren't here, yet.....
and now i'm beginning to wonder if they will EVER be here! We know that JandA will reunite eventually, but what's the use if their sizzling chemistry is missing?

But, but, but..... if apu could forget about bystanders and immerse himself in the scene, why cudn't Mona? Is it becuase it is jus t a scene for him while for Mona it is more than that?
So there go my MandA hopes too....AA was probably rejoicing that SS was here for a romantic holiday--they probably spent all their free time reherasing for NB :it was the second week of nov and they weren't eliminated yet. I'm glad they were, though-- serves SS right for barging on someone else's sets!
And MM's attentions were like balm on Mona's hurts. Now she will be eventually be won over by his devotion and pair up with him.....
So what's the big deal? Whay am i getting so emational over other people's lives? I am an idiot.....a helpess one at that.

I'm disabling my siggy for the time being... usko bhi kisi ki nazar lag gayi and i don't know it it holds true anymore-except for the last part which still definitely does!
