LOL LOL LOL... if Apoorva was involved in a 4-year long relationship, then he "hasn't been immune to the attraction of opposite sex before settling down" .... but if Purab flitted from one short (shorter than Apoorva's at least!) relationship to another, then "he is a real romantic at heart". So Armaan was actually in a state of attraction for 4 years, while Purab has been in 'love' and a one-woman-man quite a few times!!! 😆
😆 OK.So Apurva had one and Sameer had ten relationships.Who cares?? Both seem to be good ppl in real life and maybe, just maybe Apurva might be a bit better. But having a serious relationship with opposite sex and womanising are two different things.Armaan is a womaniser.Purab - a has been, done that. But none of them look to me as womanisers in real life.
I have to agree with Nishi on this.
I like Purab as he's a great character. Purab and Samir Soni are not the same thing. Actually, Armaan fans will agree with me on this, Purab is unrealistic. So no one can be expected to be like their on screen characters. Apoorva is similar to Purab and that's quite an admirable characteristic.
But you are getting me confused on this. Armaan fans, do you like Armaan for being a playboy or for his physical aspects? If it was the playboy part that's good, why is his personal character appealing? Aren't these two opposite things? The only explanation I can find is that you enjoy watching the playboy character but would not prefer him off screen. Am I correct in my observation? It's making me wonder because someone actually said that they would Mr.Playboy off screen too.
Don't be upset, it's not meant to be a taunt.
Let me try to answer that.Armaan is a rich spoiled playboy who is ambitious, manipulative and rides on a high horse of snootiness.Anything to like in him?No.
A slip of a middle class girl comes into his life, and he thinks she is a doormat to be used as and when required and then discarded.Anything to like about it?NO.
But what happens when when this spoiled rich heartless bachelor suddenly finds himself thrown from his high horse and is humbled by that very doormat who he suddenly wants not as something to be discrded but to be glued to himself for his whole life? That practical scheming brat is humbled by love and reduced to a heartbroken shadow of his former self whose focal point in life suddenly rests on that middle class lass who he didn't even count as human??Anything to like in this??
YESSS!!!! EVERYTHING.So it's not really about liking a playboy, but liking an arrogant man humbled by the oldest emotion in the world.....love.
