13th october JJKN update

hi,

today's episode is more like a repetition of what we have been seeing for the past 3 days... again we have raghav and armaan meeting, jassi flashing back, mallika complaining, jassi thinking of revenge and extremely sweet inlaws....😕

so here is my critique for the day -

The scary thrilling scene of jasmeet walia watching armaan suri's interview in front of Raghav oberoi is totally dampened by the little hands of raghav's niece karishma. She changes the channel (and guess what comes on tv instead, the mauritian dancers in the green/yellow frocks welcoming purab from the old episodes – talk of recycling😕) Raghav starts running around chairs after karishma which gives jassi just the chance to start flashbacking (including the dreadful slap flashback😡). Jassi says to herself – I will destroy GM in such a way that people would say – "ek thaa armaan, ek thaa GM, jo aaj nahin hai". Simultaneously, armaan poor guy is busy giving his interview apologising to jassi while no one is watching other than owl-like shocked mallika.

Jassi again comes to the room decorated with 1 Rupee flowers and re-flashes back (Oh lord someone save me…the slap flashback again – I'm sure SONY ensured that this scene was picturised to perfection what with jassi falling down in a careful meticulous garba dance like fashion. SONY probably knew they would be re-using the clip millions of times again). We get to see asura-style gums of armaan suri and mallika again and again haunting us. The mother-in-law switches off jassi's flashback mode by presenting her with the shaadi kaa jodaa. This was supposedly the "cursed" shaadi ka joda that her bhaabhi wore. Uma tells her "beta if you don't like this, I shall send some more sarees for you and if you don't like those too, you can tell me what you want" (wow they really follow - Don't know what the person would like, how about presenting the whole range attitude…😕)

Mallika calls up Aryan and time for some Aryan bashing. He has turned out like some punching bag for her frustrations. Mallika is scared that if armaan meets jassi all the truth will be out in few seconds. Aryan, in turn tells her that it is not legally possible for armaan to leave mallika. However, mallika tells him that "armaan jassi ke liye impossible bhi possible kardega"😳

So our dearest gummy William Wordsworth (armaan suri) and swastik shirt WB Yeats (Raghav oberoi) keep meeting at a coffee shop to discuss love, forgiveness, the beauty of love, fate, luck, bad luck and everything except the name jasmeet walia😡. Raghav oberoi is sooooo excited about this reception thingy. If his parents would ever come to know in future that he was actually supposed to be in love with someone else, they would be totally puzzled about their son's behaviour😕.

Jassi goes to the new office and hangs the picture of Babaji and her parents and goes back to flashback mode of her first office in GM😕.

Back in coffee shop, Raghav asks armaan if he has ever bought a gift for his love and armaan says 'NO' (whattttttttttt????? &$*^%*%$^ - I thought he bought her more gifts than all my friends and family put together did for me). They both then go to the jewellery shop and buy jewellery sets (obviously for the same person)

Jassi is in sulky bahu mode when her sis-in-law's friends come running to ask her which saree she is going to wear…she screams saying he wouldn't wear any of these sarees. She then sees Raghav and her mother-in-law and changes to good bahu mode. She tells uma that she would wear the shaadi ka joda (cursed one) that uma had presented her as she wants to challenge karma by wearing that saree.

Mallika is in a stunning black suit sees armaan getting all ready to go someplace and asks him about his plans. When she comes to know, she begs him that she would also like to join him. However, he refuses. Ila intercedes and gives him the explanation that 'other people would come to know about our house problems, if you don't take her along' (yeah otherwise the people wouldn't be having a clue)😆

Armaan and mallika are driving to the reception. Armaan is so happy he can't contain himself, while mallika is her snobbish self.

Arrrrggghhhhh jassi is giving us some make up tips … they actually waste half an hour showing us how she puts on her mascara, blush and eyeliner, kangan with some more flashbacks.

Armaan buys a bouquet of flowers and is extremely excited about having found the address, without having to ask any autowallas (just kidding😆)

Preview for next week – armaan is extremely emotionally affected sitting on his bed and sobbing ' I have to tell Raghav everything about jassi. Jassi cannot be anyone else's. I have to do something about this' and then he starts sobbing.
