LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Mexican screen siren Salma Hayek will reportedly coproduce for US television an adaptation of the hit Colombian comedy "Betty la fea" (Ugly Betty).
According to Variety, her production company Ventanarosa will finance a US pilot of the series for ABC.
The Colombian RCN network series, about a beauty-challenged secretary played by actress Ana Maria Orozco, who falls in love with her boss, takes on class issues and became an international hit across Latin America.
